Week 8: Sneaky WR Plays (1 Viewer)

Trap Play

Footballguy
I'm in bad shape with my WR2 position, so I'm looking at sneaky WR plays for Week 8. Essentially, these are high risk/reward guys that can help out a team that doesn't have a bonafide WR2 or WR3 for that matter.

I'll start:

M. Muhammad vs. SF

B. Johnson vs. GB

Got any others? Care to share your thoughts?

Antonio Bryant. He scored 2 TDs last year vs the Bears when he was on the Browns. I expect SF to be chasing a big lead for most this game. He should get several deep opportunities.

Is Brandon Marshall really called Baby T. O. ? I might pick him up tomorrow as a replacement for Jennings.

Why Marcus Robinson - just curious on the thought porocess there as opposed to any of the other Viking receivers.

I completely agree with Brandon Jones

<------------original Brandon Jones choo-choo driver

Both Travis Taylor and Troy Williamson had concussions yesterday. Taylor was the worse of the two today.

I don't know the stats off the top of my head but Robinson has a few touchdowns. He is getting looks and finding the endzone. Keep in mind I am comparing him to the other WR that are most likely available on the WR not guys named Boldin, S. Smith or Holt. Williamson probably still thinks he is Batman this afternoon. The kid got hit...hard...yesterday. That may or may not carry over. Williamson is still dropping passess and his numbers have declined. He is not flashy but Robinson is a veteran and is currently doing a better job than Williamson. Technically, he might not be Johnson's first or second read but, if he continues to deliver, I expect that could change. Against the other guys sitting on the WW in a DEEP league, you could do worse.Bradon Jones is the real deal. His QB situation is a work in progress so that might minimize production but, as far as the WW goes this far into the year, you could do much worse. Another guy to consider is D. Hagan. I really thought his numbers would take a dip with Booker coming back but they went up. The W. Welker Story is nice but I see Hagan replacing him in the slot sooner than later. Hagan can play.

Thanks Guys - just wanted a little thought on why MRob was a good sneaky play.
Nice avatar btw Marc. Good to see a guy using his own real pic instead od some fake character like the rest of us. :D
Right back at ya, Alfred E.

Troy Walters, AZ - presuming Fitz is still not back I think Walters is a great play against the Packers.

And the flip side if Jennings is out would be the Packer's Ruvell Martin against Arizona

And - bet the over, whatever it is
