Week 9 WW Pickups (1 Viewer)

Dynasty - Theo Riddick. Got a few touches today and didn't look terrible. Bell and Bush are both a little dinged up too.

Nick Foles if he got dropped, Marvin jones, Terrance Williams and Harry Douglas if they are still available.

Also a good week to pick up some of those coming back from injury if you have the roster space or need to stash some high upside for a playoff run.

Jake Locker if you need a bye fill-in. Quietly has put up QB1 numbers in his last 3 starts, and has a manageable schedule.

Mark Ingram scored 4 TD in a single game for Miami, doubt we see Jones come close to that again.
You won't see 300+yards from megaton either but that doesn't mean he is going to suck next week. Jones is worth a pickup for sure at this point and I'm sure could plug in at some teams #3 wr or flex easy.

Any thoughts on Josh McCown? Need a bye-week fill-in for Stafford and it's between him, Geno or Keenum. GB isn't such a bad matchup. I also feel like backup QBs with stud WRs usually find a way to get them the ball (eg, Glennon/VJax).

Josh McCown.

That is a good offensive system, he's going to Marshall, Jeffery, Forte and Bennett.

After that, Glennon. All kinds of garbage time coming his way.

Deep desperation bomb: Jason Campbell.

***************

Dobson

Marvin

Wright

Heyward-Bey

Brazill

Mike Brown

Stills

QBs above.

Houston DST gets two prime games vs Jax in weeks 12 & 14, you might start looking at them.

Trade for:

Griffin

Dalton (a week late but he's still being undervalued I sense, so is Marvin)

As an RG3 owner, I'm going for Locker.

I just grabbed him right now since he was on bye. Forgot I could do that. Nice to keep my waiver priority.

. . . and wasn't one of those the "fake spike" play? One difference is, that was late in Ingram's career. In Jones, we are talking about a second year player.

Good points, understand.

I want in on a league where Andre Ellington is available on the ww in week 9.
Cool story bro. There are such things as shallow leagues. After he put up a whopping 3 carries for 3 yds with 2 receptions for 10 yds in Week 7 you don't think there's any possibility someone may have dropped him in one of these leagues? True, he should've been picked up with Mendenhall banged up, but it's the Cardinals. They suck and typically don't run the ball a lot.

Ill throw another name out there for those desperate at TE. How about Joel Dressen? Depending on julius thomas mri today he could be an ok fill in. Already scored a td with thomas out

Rishard Matthews got 6 targets in the slot once Brandon Gibson went down. Now that Gibson is out for the season, Matthews should have value.

Or if you're the idiot who dropped him before you knew Mendenhall wasn't going to play in a shallow league >_<

After a terrible week last week it's definitely possible Ellington was dropped. Especially with 6 teams on bye or with short benches.

Andre Brown
I am jumping on this bandwagon. The Giants are starting to show signs of life. If Wilson stays out of the picture, then I believe Brown has to be the most talented back in the rotation....hopefully, the G-Men won't keep feeding the ball to Hillis, and Jacobs just goes away. Any thoughts on the Giant backfield moving forward?
