Could somebody explain The raking of Briggs this week at 48 amoung the LBers??? Should I really concider Sitting Him Over Guys Like...Greenwood, Demorio Williams,Seward, or M Washington???????

That got me as well. Is it because of Urlacher? The prowess of Kitna at QB coupled with Kevin Jones being a no show in the running game?

Also in this game is the overwelming confidence in Shawn Rogers.

I had a quick look at his stats from last year in the Detroit games:Week Two- 5 solos, 2 assists, tackle for loss, int, pass defendedWeek Eight- 6 solosUrlacher played in both and had big games (two sacks in the week two one).Dunno if that helps you or not.

Even more information! Detroit had 18 rushing attempts in the first game and got absolutely pounded (38 to 6). It was played in Chicago. In the second game, there were 29 rushes from Detroit and it was close (Detriot lost 19-13). It was, of course, played in Detroit.

Sounds to me like Briggs would not be a bad guy to start today. But hey, who am I to say?!

He did okay today. Not great, but certainly not a write off.

Once again don't take so much stock in the ranking number. If you'll look only 2 points separates him at #48 and #25. You guys need to look deeper then just the ranking number.
