Yep. And teams have been like the CIA hiding the info this year. "Hopeful to practice this week" and it's 5 weeks later still no practice. So much of the lotto strategy is reliant on subtle injury diagnoses - Irving, Stevenson, Benson, Purdy…. if the starter is coming back next week, 2 weeks it makes these calls very different.
I was shocked when somebody in my league dropped Irving a few weeks back. I gleefully picked him up and stashed him on IR thinking I had solved my RB depth issues. Now I'm half thinking he's just going to rot on my IR the rest of the season.Yep. And teams have been like the CIA hiding the info this year. I'm contemplating grabbing Adonai Mitchell in my leagues where I lost Garrett Wilson. For as bad as Fields is, Wilson was having a great year before he got hurt. Mitchell is clearly not as talented as Wilson, but their #1 WR should still have decent value. And I'm assuming he knows enough of the playbook by now that he'll play a majority of the snaps. I'm also assuming he'll rise to become the #1 WR even though he's new to the team, given the dearth of talent the Jets have at wideout. Is there a Jets WR worth owning besides Wilson, now that he's out 3-4 weeks? Fields has been absolutely terrible, and if he gets replaced by Tyrod, someone will have to catch his passes.
Does Mason Taylor get a big bump? Metchie and Mitchell are new to the team, but could come on as they get up to speed. They've apparently given up on Lazard, finally, as he was a healthy scratch last week. Arian Smith worth a flier? It's a wasteland, but somebody could step up and post decent numbers.

I was going to go to the A Mitchell post first, but saw this first.
And was going to say basically same thing you did in regards to Mitchell taking over the #1 wr role. As he is the most talented wr on team with Wilson done
Just wish he had better hands and was bit better at tracking the ball.
It will be interesting to see how he is used this week.. He has some upside, maybe wr 3.
I hope Zach Wilson takes over at QB,lol. I can't believe I just said that.
He has to be more accurate and not seeing ghosts like Fields is.
Is frieirmuth available? Plays cincyWith Kincaid getting hurt, I think I am going after Knox to fill in for Warren's bye week. No one else is available in the "ok he needs to be owned" group.
Not sure if any Bills homers have any thoughts on how the Bills might use Knox while/if Kincaid is out. Is he in the TE in Buffalo to target?
Sadly no. Taylor, Mayer, Barner, Musgrave and the Rams TE's are the top options. Is frieirmuth available? Plays cincyWith Kincaid getting hurt, I think I am going after Knox to fill in for Warren's bye week. No one else is available in the "ok he needs to be owned" group.

Brissett.Jaxon Dart is likely out this week for concussion.
Would you pick up Jacoby Brissett vs SF or Marcus Mariota @Mia?
*Just for the week*
100% agree. I've never trusted Watson, to be honest. Washington should continue to be the "de facto" WR1 in JAC. Worst case, he's their WR2, which is still better than whatever Watson is/was in GB.This is a WDID question rather than WDIA. Need to pick up a TE for Warren's bye (thinking Loveland or Schultz). But the bigger issue is that, with Hampton and Benson clogging up my bench spots, I have to drop one of my WRs. The two guys at the end of my bench are Parker Washington and Christian Watson. Washington has been coming on more lately, but his role going forward is unclear given Thomas' injury and Meyers integration into the offense. Meanwhile, Watson would seem to have more opportunities coming his way with all the injuries to GB WRs (who could have predicted in Week 1 that we'd get to midseason and he would be the only healthy one?) But of course starting any GB WR is always going to be a game of Russian Roulette.
Leaning dropping Watson and keeping Washington, just because it's hard to imagine looking back at my season and thinking, "My biggest mistake was not having enough faith in a Packers WR.".
You don't want the Jameis Winston experience for one week? We know how that rollercoaster goes but if INTs are not a premium problem I'd say let it rip...Jaxon Dart is likely out this week for concussion.

I’d rather run naked through a poison ivy patch.Michael Wilson is a name if you're desperate with MHJ out. Greg Dortch also. I wouldn't expect much but if you need a body, you could do worse..

Returned to practice todayParker Washington DNP on Wed with Hamstring. Of course I picked him up last night. Will just have to wait and see I guess.
Desperate Times call for Inconsistent WRs
WR Jerry Jeudy (52%)
Good luck if you do.Desperate Times call for Inconsistent WRs

I’m not sure I have room to add him, but Cle just changed playcallers & it’s a sweet schedule up ahead.
No way I would ever play Lockett at this stage of his career. I could find better most likely.I'd stand pat with Watson. I could see Lockett having some PPR success, but a hard no on Mitchell. Jets are a mess,he's only been there a little over a week, and are you going to get good Fields or bad Fields? Is there a good Fields?
Currently have Christian Watson on my bench. But I'm thinking of dropping him for either Tyler Lockett or Adonai Mitchell. GB has a lot of mouths to feed, but Watson only needs to connect on one deep TD to have a great game. Lockett showed good chemistry last game after being reunited with Geno and Carroll. And Mitchell should turn into the #1 option on a terrible Jets team now that Garrett Wilson is going to be out multiple games. Who do you think holds the most value the rest of the season?
If you are desperate, this is the only week to play Lockett. Cowboys secondary is awful. No way I would ever play Lockett at this stage of his career. 2 leagues total. Playing Lockett in both. One is deep with 3 flexes so that court debate isn't tough. The other might be a reach, but like somone said it's against Dallas. With Geno and Pete his floor, at home, against Cowboys is 6 receptions 60 yards. My all knowing gut sees a crossing route in the back of the end zone TD this week for him. The final push to start him this week for me was the recent clip of Geno talking about Lockett. Geno loves him some Lockett. If you are desperate, this is the only week to play Lockett. For this week I would start TuckerS. Tucker or Rod Jr (WAS) for a possible spot start at flex?
