Weekly Waiver Wire and FAAB Discussion - Week 14 (6 Viewers)

This thread doesn't take into account whether redraft or dynasty. I know some of these guys are already rostered in dynasty. This list isn't ranked in any order.

Jordan Mason - Aaron Jones reaggrevated his shoulder. No Vikings players are playable except Jefferson and I'm starting to doubt that as well.

Samjae Perine - Only if you have Chase Brown. Hard to get too excited about Perine even if he is getting touches.

Blake Corum - Definitely should be rostered and can carry some stand alone value. Kyren did get banged up this week but returned. Corum is must handcuff for Kyren Williams owners.

Devaughn Vele - He had 8/93/1 this week. Look, it's still the Saints, but if you're desperate in week 14 because of byes, Vele could be a flex option.

Adonai Mitchell - had a big game yesterday with 102 yards and a TD. He does have talent and actually held on to the ball this week. He's nothing more than a risky flex in week 14 however.

Devin Neal - He was a hot waiver pickup in week 13, but could still be out there. He is getting looks in the passing game and can be a decent flex option.

Jayden Higgins - Already rostered in dynasty, but if he's floating on the waiver wire you could definitely do worse. He's startable.

Isaac TeSlaa - With the injury to ARSB TeSlaa could be a flex pick up this week. He did score in week 13. There's risk with him, but there's risk with all waiver pickups this time of the year....most of the time.

Mike Evans - For you redrafters out there Evans might return week 14 and if someone dropped him, get him now.

Kyle Monangai - The cat is out of the bag already, but if he's still on the waiver wire you need to get him.

Brenton Strange - Probably already rostered, but if he isn't, you need to add him. Parker Washington had a hip injury this week and if he misses time that will give Strange even more looks. Strange has become a favorite target for Lawrence.

Darren Waller - Came back from IR with 3 catches for 47 yards. He doesn't get a lot of volume, but will get red zone looks.

Dalton Schultz - Very consistent option. He's had 11 or more fantasy points since week 5 except two weeks. He's had 8 targets or more, except for two, since week 7. He's had 6 or more targets except for 2 since week 3.

Trey Lance - Herbert fractured a finger on his non-throwing hand and will have surgery today. Not sure if he will play this week, but could.

Jerome Ford - I know, don't laugh, but Sampson left with a calf injury.

Looks like Rico Dowdle is not the alpha or is back in a split RBBC with Hubbard, many had cut him.
With the Panthers 7-6, they need both RBs to produce
Young is all over the map but when they get the ground game going they are much better team and can hide their QB

Mitchell will be fine. Playing Dolphins.
He's much more than a possible flex lol Easy weekly wr starter imo if you need one.

I started Mitchell this week and believe he continues his surge.

He's the teams wr1. That means 7-8 targets a game or more when trailing, which will be most of the game, most of the time..
They will keep feeding him, especially after this week.

Mitchell is a wr 2-3 ros. Imo

The talent is there!! Now his hands seem to be cooperating and he now has the CONFIDENCE!

WR2 for fantasy? Isn't that a reach?

Of course it is. He had those 7-8 targets the previous 2 weeks and had 3 catches for 52 yards

I’d add Pat Bryant, who seems to be ascending at the right time

Ran 5 more routes than Troy Franklin last night, resulting in a 77% route share, his highest of the season. Also saw 7 targets to Franklin's 3 (and Sutton’s 6).

If you are desperate at RB, I would add:

Spears, Ten
Mcnichols, Wash

And regarding Strange - he's a steal if still on waivers - get yourself some Strange

Meantime Mims is heading to my dynasty waiver wire, Held hoping for him to show something, but not even a bye week filler any more.

Gunnar Helm is a guy I was looking at as a dynasty stash but b2b weeks with 7 targets and 6 receptions is putting him on the redraft radar. The only incompletion this week coming on a pass he could not get his feet down in the end zone. Not a lot of TD's and not much yardage so far but in TEP leagues getting 1.5 PPR for a catch this kind of stuff works, TE9 the last two weeks. He's really starting to become what I thought Mason Taylor would be, a heavily utilized safety blanked on a team without a lot of places to go with the ball.

I've reached a point I'd already start him over some duds that have let me down like Njoku, Hockenson, Mason Taylor, etc, but Chig's an UFA who has been battling through a foot issue for weeks now and should he decide to shut it down we he could be a league winner type in TEP. So if you need a TE, I'd be looking his way.

Dontayvion Wicks should be on this list. Heck of a game.

You might also consider Treylon Burks. He had but one catch this week, but WOW, that was one heck of a catch! I know style points mean nothing, but it could earn him some more playing time.

Isaac TeSlaa - With the injury to ARSB TeSlaa could be a flex pick up this week. He did score in week 13. There's risk with him, but there's risk with all waiver pickups this time of the year....most of the time.

Tom Kennedy might be worth keeping an eye on too. 4/36 isn't eye-popping, but it was the 2nd most catches and receiving yards for the Lions. TeSlaa's definitely more likely to score a TD, in that mini boom-or-bust way. Both likely only have short term potential, depending of course on ARSB's recovery.
