Anyone have any information about whether to pull the trigger with wes this week? he's in my top 3 normally, but he's been reported questionable and doubtful with knee problems the whole week. this could be a huge game for him if he plays, but is it worth the gamble?

i pretty much have to set a lineup around 10am, so i can't make game-time decisions.

I know this is for assistant coach forum, but it just fits on the main welker thread too... i could start desean or torry holt in his place, should i just run with that?

I haven't followed the practice reports, but unless he's been missing practices all week I wouldn't worry about it.

Limited practice participation all week, just like last week. Based on last week and the importance of the game, I expect him to play. He is going against a very aggressive J-E-T-S defense, the question is what will they take away -- Moss? Welker? One would guess that they think they can stop the run without extra help in the box, and a blitzing front 7 against a less mobile Brady takes away a lot of the deep stuff. BB likely has a countering game plan ready, how much it includes Welker is anyones guess

Nothing changed for Welker at all. And he got a dozen catches last week. I would not be concerned about his health or status.
