Just thought it's kindof a funny. Even a bit ironic, should I say, considering how beloved we all know the Steelers are by Seattle fans. Couldnt help but laugh just a little at the sight of those 'Seahawk'-looking Superbowl championship hats. Kinda funny, and just curious of thoughts of Steelers fans and others. Congratulations, Steelers fans on the 6th ring and another great season.

My friend and I was saying the same thing to each other.Seahawks colors all the way. Odd choice by somebody.

instead of shipping them to 3rd world countries, maybe the NFL decided to reuse them years later.

I guess we'll know for sure if the 2011 SB winner is sporting around hats in the Cardinals' color's

The Championship gear is usually the same color as the SB logo for that year. When the Packers won SB XXXI, I passed on buying any shirts or hats because of the purple and teal logo.

The hats will never be the winner's team color, because Reebok has to pre-buy the blanks from overseas months in advance. So they go with the same colors no matter who wins, and just slap a team logo on it.

That's also why you'll see them run out of certain teams. They have to forecast a number...and they'll middle it between what they think the best selling and worst selling teams will do, so they don't get stuck with a lot of blanks if a poor selling team does end up winning.

That's fine, but why not go with colors that are completely neutral. Gray...black..white...and make the winning team's logo more prominent? I seriously can't see many Steeler fans buying those hats.

crosseyed, agreed. those hats are horrible. i wear a lot of hats as well in the summer months. also, the white towel "NFL ripoff of the terrible towel" what a joke. a t-shirt yes.

I agree. It's the same color as the Colts team color. Imagine how bad it would have looked with a Giants logo on it in a different shade of blue.

to avoid further confusion, the NFL should just switch to silver and black because no one would ever confuse the Raiders as SB champs :lmao:
