Again.. we're rating this guy as a possession receiver here. Big play / deep threat guys don't really fit the mold and aren't included in this breakout. Not talking about who's going to get you the most fantasy points per se... just who do you want to have lined up on 3rd and 7.

He's a possession receiver right now, sure, but thats only because they have Moss and Donte to go downfield. Welker has ridiculous speed and agility - watch any of his punt/kick returns and you'll see a guy who loses no speed making cuts and seems to hit his 5th gear on the 1st step. Its sick.

The guy is very good, imo. He continually caught my eye last season, making alot of tough catches in traffic. Now he's in NE, playing with maybe the greatest QB of all-time.

Welker is one of the best possession WR's in the league, imo. FF wise, I think he's an excellent 3rd WR.
