New England Patriots WR Wes Welker (knee) was limited during practice Friday, Sept. 18. He is listed as questionable for Week 2 but is expected to play.

Was also Questionable and limited last week; league high 16 targets, 11 catches.

Plus its New England - Brady has been listed as probable every week since the 2005.

The ironic thing with Brady is that the one week he WAS NOT on the injury report was the week he got hurt.

I just swapped Watson for Witten. I think Watson gets multiple TDS today. NFL.com is saying start Galloway.

Bet this is going to screw a lot of people. Sure many have set their lineups with him in it and taken off for the day. Seeing as how he played last week without issue.

The intent of these injury threads is NOT to talk about replacement players or matchups, etc. These pinned threads are to update injury status. I know it's hard for some of you to resist making the other commentary.

That said, is it 100% certain that Welker is out?

Qimqam and couch potato, I'm not going to clutter this thread with additional posts so I'll edit my original post to add the following: I rely on this board in addition to other news sources. Relying on this combination has saved me a few times when there are discrepancies. The moderators have asked numerous times in the past that these pinned Sunday injury status threads not be cluttered with lineup decisions, roster substitute comments, etc. Other non-pinned threads can be created for that. Can't we respect that?

We already know Welker is inactive that's not going to change. Can't we talk about other options and the impact on other players. If not the thread should be locked.

You have your information.Welker is OUT.

inserts Julian Edelman into line-up
Big fan of Edelman's game. I think when healthy he'll be utilized with Welker in games that will drive teams crazy & benefit Moss. I picked him up in two dynasties and wish I picked him in my zealots league this week but thought he was still banged up

This one is a surprise to me. He was slated to go a couple of days ago. Wonder what changed.
Come on man, it's your team. You know how they play with the injury reports..Nothing surprises me anymore with this team..
