Anyone have any new news on Westbrooks ankle injury?? Does this appear to be serious(like several weeks) or something he can play through?? He did say it was "VERY PAINFUL"!! This could be a lingering injury??

I actually don't have a problem with new threads for this sort of thing... you either wade through threads (sorted by date) or you wade through one multi page thread... and re-read/scan the whole 5 page thing where every post is a rephrased "Is it a high ankle sprain?" "Technically it's not a sprain but a strain..." kind of stuff (not that it's not interesting – it's just not a brief up to the minute "news-post"

Westbrook did say something along the lines of that he'll do everything he can to play this week but, that still leaves things open. It's good to hear but he still has to heal up

NFL.com's Adam Schefter was at the Eagles' facility Wednesday and observed that Brian Westbrook's ankle is "sore, but not swollen."

This would seemingly rule out a high ankle sprain. Westbrook is reportedly walking without an obvious limp and intends to try practicing late this week.

ESPN had a blurb about him and McNabb both expecting that they would play. Don’t worry about the imbecilic, self-appointed Nazi-wannabe forum police. It takes a special kind of loser to read a legit post and post about the post rather than contributing info or moving on.I am sure that there is a village somewhere that is missing its idiot

Sorry that I don't see the point in starting a new Westbrook injury thread when there's already one on the first page. Now instead of one place to check for updates, there are two. That certainly makes it easier on everyone. Of course, despite the fact that I think the original post was poorly written and unnecessary, I don't think I'd refer to the OP as "imbecilic", "Nazi-wannabe", "loser" or "idiot". It takes a special kind of class to squeeze all that into two lines.
