Yeah - that's where I am at, I have Ray Rice vs. PIT, Chester Taylor vs. TEN (with foot issue) or Fred Jackson - it looks like a gamble on Westbrook or a few points with Jackson. As a rule I would never start someone that didn't practice all week. In this case, wit it being a night game, there's absolutely no way I start him unless it was such a deep league that my alternative was a guy unlikely to get more than a handful of carries in the best of circumstances.
interesting. where'd you read that? i have westbrook and booker -- currently planning on sitting them both for thomas jones. if booker is supposed to get a lot of work, that makes it a closer call...I read he has 10% chance of playing. And that if he doesn't go C Buck won't get a ton of work. He will get 10-12 but Booker will be involved in passing plays.Take that FWIW.

The latest on Philadelphia Eagles back Brian Westbrook (ankle): Our source said he has a "10 percent" chance of playing this week. He's a game-time decision.
Eagles back Correll Buckhalter won't see a ton of work if Westy can't go - probably around a dozen carries. They'll probably attack more downfield given the Bears' strong run D, and the team will mix in Lorenzo Booker, especially on passing plays that would normally be run for Westbrook.
Why would anyone chance it? Just makes no sense to me unless, as I said before, your alternatives were just abysmal.
