What are the good offenses? (1 Viewer)

After briefly looking at the top ten (SD, INDY, DAL, PHI, HOU, DEN, NYG, NO, ATL, NE) only Indy, Philly, and the NYG are producing starters across the board. SD, DAL, NO, ATL, NE, and DEN have no running game to speak of. I was thinking this was a bit odd, to have so many of the top offenses run-barren, but it was this way last year as well. Only the Vikes, Packers, and Steelers produced fantasy-worthy starters at RB last year, and I guess you could include Indy but I don't remember Addai producing like he has this year.

The only teams this year that have consistently produced in the run game have been the Vikes, Chiefs, Steelers, Jets, Niners, and Titans; and the Jets rank with the highest-producing offense this year at #17.

Is the lesson here that you are much better off targetting runners on low-producing offenses, or do these teams simply have superior talent at RB and that's why it shakes out like this? Of the above teams, only three had what were universally considered first-round backs.

Houston, Indy, and Philly are the only ones that have consistently produced quality FF starters for most of the season. And Houston is a little sketchy given the pass-deficient week 1 performance, and the dip it took when AJ was a little hobbled.

Next year in one of my leagues I am going to try drafting only Indy players:

1: Manning

2: Wayne

3: Addai

4: Clark

5: Garcon

6: Collie

you would be doing exceptionally well with that corps if you had started that way this year.

Except you have no #2 running back.
