What are you getting for McNabb, Rodgers or O'Sullivan? (1 Viewer)

I’m wondering what people who have traded any one of these guys recently are getting in return. I’ve got all three in a league in which you can start a quarterback at the flex position (so it’s not necessarily a “start two QB league”), and I’m thinking about moving one to address another position.

By the way, this is not a “who do I trade” question. I’d just like to see what kind of return people are getting for any of these players so I can adjust my own expectations.

Not in the market either way, but for either of the last 2 I would expect an upper tier RB or WR. McNabb is dicier (I think?) due to health but not up on the latest.

I was offered Cotchery(ppr) league and Minnesota defense and Schaub for Rodgers and Reggie Brown.

I have to decide by tonight to accept or not.

My starter is Brees.

Still haven't decided to take it or not----Cotchery is what? a 12-16 wr in a ppr leagur this year?

Realistically, I don't know if I'll be able to do better as there is usually only a few teams looking for a better QB.

Thus, I'm interested also in what people are getting.

I just traded JTO for Fitzgerald. It's a 2QB league though so its equivalent to a top 10 RB for Fitzgerald if you need point of reference.

I traded Rogers and Ricky Williams, and got Jacobs. (This was right after week 2)

I then turned around and traded Jacobs, and Vincent Jackson for Frank Gore and Javon Walker.

I was in a bad way at rb in a dynasty league and had P.Rivers Mcnabb Griese Garrard. I got Ryan Grant for Mcnabb. Bought low on Grant and Mcnabb is a very big injury risk so if you are going to trade him do it soon.

I may be stupid declining this...Got Brees and Rodgers on my team and was offered Braylon Edwards and Steve Slaton non ppr start 2 rb, 2 wr, no flex.

I only have Jericho Cotchery at WR and i'm deep at RB; LJ, McGahee, McClain, Edge. But my league is big for QBs. They get 2 points per 25 yards and can only hold 2 on roster in a 16 team league....which means no QB's on Waivers.

I passed cuz i looked at it as an advantage to hold to stud QB's so other teams that lack QB's are pretty much worthless in the league. lol.

Tried these offers and was turned down:

Rodgers, Coles, White for TO

Rodgers, CJ3 for Gore

I thought they were very fair offers to two teams with crap for QB's. The guy with TO has Cassel, and the guy with Gore has Anderson... I thought they would be all over Rodgers. I thought wrong.

I pulled the trigger and dumped McNabb last saturday. It took some time, but I ended up giving McNabb / Felix and getting Turner and Calvin. I'm happy with the trade as J Lew was my #2 so now i can pair him with Turner (LT #1) and Calvin just compliments Fitz and Wayne

i have offered jt o'sullivan to virtually every team in my league, and no bites whatsoever. granted, it's a very much sub-standard league, but we have to start 2 QB's and QB touchdown passes count for 6 points each, so QB's are quite valuable. i've offered him around for upper tier starters at other positions to about 10 teams, and no interest. i have big ben in that league though, so it may be prudent just to hang on to o'sullivan.

I have Big Ben & OSullivan in my league and their value is worthless right now. Wait a few weeks.

I've been offered JTO in one league as part of a package. I admittedly haven't seen him play but I can't help to be very apprehensive about him based on his lack of track record & the quality of the opponents he's faced thus far. His schedule appears to get more difficult in the near future....To me, he reeks of a "sell high" guy; good for sellers, not so much for buyers. Not an easy one to value, anyone have a more informed opinion on this dude?

You must be really hurting at that other position. QB's in my league are the top 6 scorers, 8 of the top 10 and 9 of the top 12. Given the option of playing a second QB as a flex I would always be playing two with the trio you've got.

seems like a fair trade to me. You underestimate how studly McNabb is when healthy. No Kool Aid involved.

I had a trade set up for next week rodgers or rivers/edge/his choice of stuckey or matt jones for

delhomme/fatso/welker. ppr league. i play him this week and wasnt about to pull the trigger as i get to face delhomme or schaub. vs rodgers or rivers if i didnt wait plus welker had no use for me this week.

he went ahead and traded welker anyway to another team for mcclain so his loss!

i think i should be able to get even more then this for rodgers or rivers anyway especially if they stay on fire! they are 2 of the top 3 best fantasy qb's so far this year!

I'm embarrassed to say who I got in return for JTO (I was high bidder for him after week 2; I already had Cutler & Schaub). I picked him up b/c of concerns about Schaub keeping his job; I hate not having a reliable backup QB as that has screwed me over the years when my starter has gone down to injury. Anyways, I am desperately thin at backup RB (my starters are Gore & Lynch, and I have Fred Jackson handcuffed to Lynch); my only viable backup is Hightower, but he's not even a starter, and Mo Morris is hurt & in a committee situation anyway even when he does return.

Sorry for the lengthy post, but, I traded JTO for................................................Sammy Morris.. Yet another RB in a committee. That was the best deal I could get. With JTO's schedule getting tough for a stretch after week 4, I figured his already low perceived value (in my league anyway) wasn't gonna go up. Given the number of hits JTO likely take the next few weeks, I decided I'd rather lock-up the Hous QB, so I traded JTO for Sammy Morris, and picked up Sage Rosenfels off waivers.. I just couldn't carry 4 QBs (i.e. keep JTO to maybe trade later). So now I'm carrying Cutler/Schaub/Rosenfels. My backup RB situation still blows, of course, but given the market I was in, I just couldn't do better. I figured I'd rather at least have the option of starting Sammy when Lynch/Gore are on a BYE, than have a 3rd QB on my roster.

(to the team that lost Brady and had no RB's) then traded Royal (got off waivers wk1) & Mendenhall (got off waivers wk2) for Steve Smith (car) picked up MBush & JT'O off waivers to fill spots from 1st trade, pick up ABryant & BLlyodd to fill up the roster spots for second trade. Also, picked up BQuinn who I should be parlaying into a upgraded RB next week. Busy lil' bee.
