Friends of ours call themselves Oma (grandma) and Opa (gpa).  They constantly blow up Face Book with Oma this and Opa that...

Expecting our first Grand in June!  This is a topic of discussion with our daughter.  I'm ok with simply Grandpa, but my wife is more picky.  Everything she has suggested my daughter has vetoed ... everything my daughter suggests, my wife nixes.

I wanted G diddy but it didn't go over all that well. Now I have 3 different circles of grand kids and they all call me something a little different.

Papaw, Pappy, and the youngest just calls me Papa.

People really that hung up on being called Grandpa? I’ll wear that honor proudly even though I’m a young looking 56. Should be in 2019!
