I'm a big fan of alternative rock (both the radio friendly stuff and some of the indie stuff) and have been so the majority of my life.  Some bands that fall into the can't stand category for me are: Vampire Weekend, Phoenix, Cake, 20 seconds to Mars, My chemical romance, of monsters and men, bush,  Mumford and sons, panic at the disco, and fall out boy.

Also, I blame continued acceptance of RHCP's bland awful white boy funk for Twenty-One Pilots not immediately being laughed out of the studio.

I can't really defend them because the recordings are crap, but I discovered 21 pilots live at noon on a side stage at a festival 5 years ago. They were awesome, so I get why hey are popular with the kids. Saw them again his year as a headliner at same festival. Not. Good. But I remember when.
