What Desperation WR Plays Are You Considering This Week? (1 Viewer)

The more I think about it, I think I'm starting Roberts over Martin at my flex. When I look at KC's rush defense I see a team who got blown up by Spiller for 123 and 2 TDs but have really contained everyone else. Rice is the only other 100 yd rusher and he barely got there with 102 (no TDs). The other 3 starting RBs: Turner, Sproles and Mathews - 32, 62 & 61. No TDs. Blount in the picture more this week certainly doesn't help.

Meanwhile, Buffalo gave up 2 TDs to Hill and Bowe in the first 2 weeks and more recently have allowed 2 100 yd receivers in each of their last two (NE, SF) with 12 total receiving TDs to date. Add to it that Arizona doesn't have an established running game (or an RB for that matter), that Arizona's had 10 days to game plan and that Buffalo is traveling across the country. With Fitz being Arizona's only legitimate playmaker I think he draws enough attention that Roberts sneaks in a 100 yd day and a touch on a significant number of catches (5-7).

Not predicting anything, just showing my thoughts behind what may be my roster decision of the week.

Edit: I'm also posting this for posterity so that when I inevitably ask myself what the hell I was thinking, I can come back here and read it.

Try Branch if you're desperate.

Hearing that he was big part of their game plan this week. Makes sense as they may want to avoid their top corners. Plus Branch FU factor at work. Might be similar results as his FU game vs Pats in 08.

Guys I Like this week:

Andre Roberts

Mario Manningham

Mike Williams

Deep leagues: T.J. Graham, Hankerson, Schilens

Also like Kerley and Denarius Moore, but those aren't very desperate plays for a flex/WR2.
