What did we learn from week 2? (1 Viewer)

Spending early picks on RB is obsolete. Funny thing is, I was upside down drafting before it even had a name, but I went away from it this year

The better Manning plays for Denver.

Eddie Royal is for real.

Jets may not be the worst team in football; JAX undoubtedly is.

Skins are in for a very long year, though somehow, RG3 is still a solid fantasy start.

The plethora of hands that can catch the ball in ARI is extending Palmer's career.

TRich, Rice and Foster owners should be nervous.

Bump Finley.

Why are foster owners nervous? Looked fine to me...?

Cleveland is a coaching wasteland. No one who goes there can coach a lick.

All teams want to throw the ball 24/7.

A lot of bad bad football is being played.

Helmet to helmet is going to be a big deal until larger suspensions are enforced.

No RB is worth a 1st round pick next year.

NFL players are wussies when it comes to playing hurt.

Injuries make this game very painful to watch sometimes.

Worst case scenario for T-Rich is more of the same. He's hovering right around 10 ppg in ppr and that's with no touchdowns, no good games, and no big plays.

Over the course of the season he'll have those 20-25 point weeks to bring his ppg up to a solid RB1 level.

Unlike Foster and Rice, there's no talented backup nipping at his heels. And Gordon coming back should help the offense.

AP and McCoy will be.

Tate doing way more with way less. Foster owners already knew Foster's touches would go down as Houston were going to spread carries out more this year. But Tate looked like the way quicker, more aggressive and harder runner for the past two weeks.

Hopefully when Gordon comes back he will be able to take some of the defenses focus off of T-Rich.

That listening to any analyst who said go RB early and often more or less is wrong thus far.

That I also hate myself for drafting Spiller over McCoy.

This as well.

Coughlin has to realize his team is going nowhere if they are basically going to ignore the running game completely. If you are going to give up on Wilson, do so after giving him a REAL second chance.

As long as he can start the second half playing prevent defense he will be fine as a FF QB.

This. I didn't do it but it appears its better to get stud WRs and take 5-15 points from RBs drafted in the middle rounds instead of taking 5-11 points from RBs drafted in round 1 and 2.

That this week two thread will be as over reactive as the week one edition.

Plenty of time for guys to get on track, bust, or get hurt.

For me, it's guys get playing time and worked into the offense. Its sometimes hard to see, but there are patterns developing. Someone like James Jones was said to be under utilized week one, even by his own organization. They respond by making a concerted effort to get him involved and that pays off in a blowout win. He's a big asset to that offense. They have a lot of firepower that makes them so dangerous (obvious, I know).

Someone like Lamar Miller is neither as bad nor as good as the majority of the Pool believes. But, provided he stays healthy, he will be a decent play. He was a big part of the game even after he rushed for thirty seven negative yards. Plus, it came in a win and he had a huge carry late in the game.

Eddie Royal isn't this good, but he's being worked into the gameplan. They are screening for him, Rivers is looking his way, and it's opening up things for Gates a bit. Yes, Philly can't stop a nose bleed right now, but injuries to theWRs on the team will further cement his presence in the lineup.

Plenty more, but I am trying to figure out opportunity as much as results right now.

Jacksonville is terrible. Start every defense that plays them every week.

Finley is for real this year.

River's demise was overblown.

Desean Jackson will be a top 5 WR this year. Unreal...

Mike Vick will be the steal of every draft if he stays healthy.

Mcfadden is for real this year. If he stays healthy he is top 10.

The panthers, chiefs defenses are for real and should be rostered.

Cam Newton is going to suck this year and it's not his fault. The coaches are trying to make him a pocket passer and he has no weapons to throw to other than a geriatric steve smith and olsen.

Sam Bradford is for real this year and can be started as a qb1.

Lamar Miller and the Miami running game's demise was overblown.

Ryan Tannehill is for real.

Start Hartline ONLY when Wallace is going up against a shutdown corner.

Julius Thomas isn't going away.

Knowshon moreno isn't either. Ball and Hillman are afterthoughts.

David Wilson is a quintessential buy low candidate. After this week his owners will likely be in total panic mode and will sell for pennies on the dollar. The risk is worth it. buy and stash till he re establishes himself in that offense.

Vjax is in trouble as freeman might get benched. The mike glennan show might be upon us soon. Sell high if you can.

Tavon Austin is for real and should only get better as the season wears on.

Spiller will disappoint expectations. Fjax is too involved and he is losing GL touches. his TDs will suffer.

It's anyone's guess which denver wideouts will shine from week to week.

Thompkins and Dobson suck and have no place on a redraft team.

Gronk and edelmann will be very busy starting in week 3.

Eddie Royal is suddenly calvin johnson? wtf I won;t be chasing these unsustainable stats.

Joique bell is going to prove to be an extremely valuable asset this year.

Balt Defense is better than their week 1 showing.

Oakland is better than people thought they would be this year.

MJD is dunzo.

I remember when Eddie Royal tore up Deangelo Hall during his first game of his rookie season vs the Raiders. Kid was cutting on a dime running routes like the second coming of Marvin Harrison.

Don't you have to establish yourself in an offense before you can re-establish yourself in it?

Some teams just find a way to lose.....Carolina, Tampa Bay

If they get a moment to put away a game 90% chance they screw it up giving life to the other team, then they roll over.

Carolina lost many games last year by only a few points and I thought they'd win a few more of those this year. I was looking at it all wrong, it wasn't "aw shucks, they'll win those kinds of games next year". It's actually just the way Carolina gives games away, Tampa as well.

That being said this week of football was awesome!

Bowe has made his living in garbage time... why should he be the only one?

Kaepernick will be known as Ol' One Eyebrow for awhile.
Only virtually (on Madden I guess). THey said somehting about it last night during the game. I don't think league rules allow him to shave his eyebrow (I know, we are all shocked the NFL has a rule about something silly).
