What do we think of Percy? (1 Viewer)

I'm not sure whether to sell high on Percy (Can prob land me TO or Housh at this point, not that I'm sure I want those guys either) or start him at WR2. He did great the first 2 games but with Berrian back and Rice emerging, it seems like he's just a slot receiver on a running team that's not really a red zone threat. Is now a good time to trade him off before he gets more games of 3 catches for 40-50 yds?

Favre has a man-crush on Percy Harvin, and he's the only WR who'll actually get you predictable rushing totals to supplement his receiving totals. TO and Housh are both coasting on name recognition at this point.

Harvin is the slot receiver on the team in 3 WR sets, but the Vikings have used many different combos when using 1 or 2 WRs. The most common combo is clearly Berrian and Rice, but Harvin will still get snaps in those sets. Plus like SSOG mentioned, he will get a few carries every game and expect the Vikings to start looking for him on more screens. Plus, if you get points for return yardage in your league, he's clearly better than Housh or TO. He's been very good a kick returns so far this year and now with Reynaud hurt, he'll probably get the punt returning duties for the near future.
