What Do You Need Monday Night to Advance? (1 Viewer)

Mr. Know-It-All

Footballguy
Never too early to start this thread as some good offense should be on display tomorrow (not so much defense).

My team started 0-5, was at 3-7 and had to win out to make the playoffs. Knocked off the #3 seed last week with a lot of luck and have a shot at taking down the #1 seed this week depending on what happens tomorrow night.

+10.5 and I have Brees, Jeffery and Jared Allen versus Ingram, Willie Young, and Kenny Vacarro.

God I hope it is a shootout and Pierre Thomas gets any RB tds.

My opponent is done and I need 6 pts from Ingram (1pt for every 5 yards). Hopefully he doesnt screw this up.

In my other league down 3.9 pts with my Bennett vs his Graham. (std PPR scoring) Crossing my fingers.

I'm feeling pretty good going into Monday. Looking good in all 3 of my championship hopefuls.

1) up 17 with Brees and Forte against his Cutler

2) Up 23 with Forte against his Cutler

3) Up 54 with Brees against his Ingram

Not feeling great about my chances of advancing in my main money league, even though Yahoo seems to think I have a 54% chance of winning. I was a heavy favorite going into the matchup, but Rodgers and Sanders decided to stink up my roster.

Down 9.65 points in 1 point PPR.

I have Forte and Kenny Stills remaining. He has Jay Cutler remaining.

I'm going to need a lot of help.

Jeffery needs to outscore Vaccaro by 2 (Thanks to DEZ!!!). I'm feeling pretty good, but I thought this would my easy game...

I was a 33 point favorite heading into my big money Yahoo matchup and I'm sweating bullets also thanks to Charles and Jordy stinking up the joint and the costly mistake of starting the Lions over the Pats D.

I give myself about a 40 percent chance

Ouch on fielding that duo this week. If Jordy had slightly better hands on that one 94 yarder, we'd be in much better shape. Good luck on Ingram having a below average day.

In my 16-team big money league (1/2-point PPR), I lead by 49.2 points with Ingram in reserve against my opponent's Bennett & Stills.

In my other 16-team league (standard) where I'm defending champ, I trail by 4.52 points with Brees and Graham on deck. My opponent's already done.

Needless to say, I'm in high spirits.

Need 8.8 points (standard) from Ingram thanks to Dez, in a $100 Yahoo league. Pretty much a coin flip. Sort of like the coin flip that resulted in me starting Ingram over Jeremy Hill. Doh.

Matt Forte and Jimmy Graham to combine for less than 75 points (.5 PPR). Dez Bryant and Odell Beckham Jr. carried me to a big lead.

Cutler/Jeffery to combine for 53 points. At a minimum that means Jeffery needs 2 TD's.

Something like:

Cutler - 300/2

Jeffery - 8/100/2

.5 PPR; 6 pts/any TD; -2 pts/INT; typical yardage scoring

I have 31 pt lead + Cutler vs. opponent's Forte & Graham

I figure if I get something like 275/2/1 (21 pts in my league's scoring) out of Cutler, that is enough to offset a good performance from one of Forte/Graham. My hope is the 31 pt lead is enough to absorb a "big" game from one of them.

Thanks for nothing Shady & Eagles DST; you did very little to extend the small lead I had (thanks to ODB & Hill for giving me a chance). Really nervous about facing Graham especially since he's so due to have a big game.

League 1: up 60ish with no one to go, he has Cutler and black unicorn (ppr, yardage bonuses, 6 pt passing TD)

League 2: up 43, with my forte against his Jeffry (ppr)

Down 29 thanks to the dez show last night :(

I have brees + graham and hes done. Normally id feel confident vs the bears but after the last week debacle im not so sure. Its gonna be close IMO

Up 49 but my brother has Brees and Bennett. I should win but These two are certainly capable of making this game tight considering the defenses they'll play against.

Colston to not fumble 5 times or run backwards 100 yards.

I'd bench him but in contention for the weekly top score and stat changes are always possible.

Jeffery to not be outscored by Ingram and cutler by 45 points.

Fairly confident.

Unless both Forte and Jeffrey have record setting weeks I'm into the SB. Thank U to Jordan Matthews last night for putting up a goose egg for my opponent.

I need Bennett to outscore Jeffrey by 9 points.

In a different league I need Ingram to outscore Bennett by 13.

So basically I need Ingram to get 100 yards and 2 TDs, I need Bennett to get 80 yards on 12 receptions, and I need Alshon to get like 4 for 40 and get knocked out of the game.

Down by 7.5 with Ingram and Stills in a PPR league. Opponent has Jeffrey.

Not feeling good. Not feeling good at all.

Need Ingram/Forte to outscore Cutler by 7. Certainly possible.

Need Ingram/Graham to combine for less than 38. Only a .5 ppr so it's possible but will be really close.

I'm in 3 money leagues.

In my biggest, I have already clinched a spot in the championship.

In my second biggest , I'm up 25.62, he has Martellus Bennett, and I have Jimmy Graham. (essentially standard scoring) This should be another win.

In my smallest league , I'm up 10.12, he has Drew Brees and Matt Forte, and I have Martellus Bennett and Mark Ingram. (essentially standard scoring)

This one doesn't look promising, I figure I have about a 10% chance to squeeze out a win.

Ironically, this last one, thats the one I've been in for years, and always had bad luck, never finishing better than 3rd. :(

You ever had a guy in your leagues, that always seems to make good moves, and make the playoffs most every year, yet he loses in round 1 playoffs and never wins???? Thats been me for my entire fantasy career. (5-6 trips to the playoffs, always losing round one)

The good news is, this is my first year ever getting to a championship match, and I'm in 2 of 3..... with an outside shot at the third.

I'd really like to make the playoffs in my small league, considering my history there, etc. But I'm just happy to have made the championships in the others.

Feels good.

TZM

Forte to have less than 19pts in standard scoring.

If there is a FF God, I will be in the SB next week. I was up by 50 last night and than Dez decided to have his first 3 TD performance of his career

In my main league I'm down 22 but my opponent is done and I have Cutler, forte, and Graham... so it looks good.

In my other league I'm down 35 and my opponent is done. I have Ingram and Graham but yardage points are diminished... so at least 5 TDs between the 2 is basically what I need... not good.

Forte to take the night off is a guaranteed win in both. Otherwise Brees to score a couple TDs in redraft. Big P uss Graham to act like a man in dynasty.

Jimmy needs to have about five catches and a TD. Or eight catches. That should get me through. I thought I was toast with Rodgers, Charles, Matthews hurt, Julio hurt, A Bradshaw hurt, Keenan Allen hurt and Tucker missing fg's. Its a sixteen team league and I'm the one seed. Its amazing I even have a chance. Go Jimmy!

I traded Odell Beckham (cheap keeper too) for Julio about five weeks ago which is killing me.

I need Stills to score less than 15 points in .5 PPR. Against Chicago and with Graham struggling, I do not like my chances. It would really suck putting up 153 points and losing when neither team on the other side of the bracket broke 100.
