Once again Monday is upon us - every week people shout out to the fantasy gods, and every week, for a rare few, our prayers are answered.

of course for some of us, we are smited by the gods, for we live unpure lives & are deserving of their scorn & ridicule, punished for our hubris of for having grievously offended them somehow. 

But you never know which until you’ve posted it here - so tell us....what do you need to win on MNF?

I’ll tell you what I need, because I know you all care so, so, so much:

League 1:  up 59 & done. I need Gordon, Godskowski & the Pats D/ST to not score that many points. Weekly average-wise this feels kind of safe. But since they’re playing the Bills, yeah. 

League 2: up 34 points, my opponent has Brady & a DB. I have White & Hogan. One of the rare times “cancellation” actually exists, since it’s tbe last game of the week and I have 2 of my opponent’s QB targets. If it’s a big game for Gronk, Edelman & Gordon I’m probably toast. Otherwise my pickle will dance.

18 points in PPR. Other team is done. I have Gordon and White going. Started Josh due to BYE week and with his discipline I’m feeling a tad bit less confident. White hopefully gets it by himself though.

OMG the fantasy gods have already responded.  

One less quarter from Gordon makes my lead in one league a little safer, and potentially helps Hogan / hurts Brady in the other. 

I can feel my pickle starting to twerk already. 

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Patriots will keep Josh Gordon off the field for roughly a quarter on Monday night due to tardiness.

Per RapSheet, Gordon will be benched for "several series -- about a quarter." He is expected to resume normal playing time thereafter. The Patriots likely have Gordon on a zero-tolerance policy, so he's lucky he wasn't outright released. Accountability has been a recurring issue throughout Gordon's career. Tom Brady has gone out of his way to take Gordon under his wing. The Athletic's Jeff Howe reported Gordon showed up late on Sunday before the team departed Gillette Stadium for Buff

I am up by 7 with McCoy but he has Clay (avg 3.9)  & NEP Def (avg 7.2) but Buff Def allows avg 17.6 !  

Left R Barber (14.5)  on bench and dropped Was Def for Chi (-18 pt diff)!!

I am with you on the Time Machine but I took out Wash Def (24) and played Chi (6)!

I face a conundrum.  In one league I am down 11, I have Brady and Edmunds and my opponent has Gostkowski.  Need about 3 tds and 250 from Brady and 6 or so tackles from Edmunds so long as Gostkowski doesn't go nuts.

The other league I am UP 2.5.  I have James White, opponent has Edelman and Edmunds.  It is 1 pt ppr.  So I need a dud from Edelman (goes against the Brady tds I need int he other league), Edmunds can get the 6 tackles I need in the other league - then White would need about 80 yards a handful of recpts and a td or two.

My luck is that Gostkowski goes nuts, Edelman goes nuts and White does nothing and I lose both leagues.

I also had Jameis in. To mke it even more painful, in that league I get 5 points at 300+ yards. 5 mins into the 3rd he had 286

Winston had not one, but 2 straight possessions where he threw 0 yards & 2 Ints, then got benched.

14 lousy yards.
