Isn't this sort of like posting on the GM message board, asking (along with GM) what other brands of cars people buy? It's not my board, but if it were I'm not sure I'd want folks posting warm fuzzies about the competition. Just sayin'. . .

I strongly disagree. I like to call it...... 'keeping a pulse on the people'....... you got to know what/how the average manager is making his decisions....... part of that is monitoring what kind of crap they're being fed........ obviously helps for drafting and/or trading purposes (i.e. - especially if you can find info that overrates the guy you have and underrates the guy you want - send the links baby :excited: )footballguys also posts a long list of links.i drop in on lots of free sites: pigskinaddiction, fftoday, rotoworld, fanball, yahoo, espn, fantasysportscentral and fantasysharks

I like rotoworld's daily dose articles, esp for baseball where there are games each day and you can't keep up with them all. not as useful for football, but still a good daily news summary.

I also use their other articles, picking some stuff out of that and FBG that I like or seems interesting.

I've got no problem saying it - I check that out b/c the price is right (free) but pay here.

KFFL gives some useless info I really don't care about (OLineman and related info).

Never got into rototimes. don't know why.

Stopped visiting fanball when they kept getting cuter and cuter with their article titles - i can't tell what the heck they're trying to write about anymore so it's a waste of time.

So, FBG and rotoworld, that's it.

I subscribe to FBGs as a staple and select one other each year on a trial basis. Last year it was KFFL and this year FantasyGuru, two years ago the Huddle. None of these seem to reach the IDP depth I'm looking for and they are far behind FBGs.

I also tap into FFFtoday for their idp write up, which I find useful.

KFFL's Hot Off The Wire player news seems to be a little more detailed than competitors and I use its player watch list to send me updates on selected players.

FantasyGuru provides a tiered cheatsheet that I like and the site seems to be improving.

I've moved on from The Huddle, which is a decent, cheap site for simple redraft leagues.

While the content at FBG is overall far superior, there are two other things that set FBGs apart

1) the message boards are an extremely useful place for exchanging ideas, asking questions, getting feedback.

2) the offseason daily emails and training camp reports are way cool and unique.

I ignore almost completely Fox, ESPN, Yahoo, CBSsportsline.

I use this forum, my eyes and ears, and my own intuition. I'm not into paying for Fantasy insight, at least until I start spending mega-money. Toss in NFL.com for some statistical reference, and I'm happy as a clam.

I also work in a full-blown sports-information newsroom. That makes some information fairly easy to access. :P

I use the following sites on an annual basis (all paid subscriptions):

Not counting FBG (which is at the top for their content and having these boards for everyone) how would you rank those other sites? I went to FF Mastermind, but every third piece was a sales pitch or some kind of bragging about the site. I got a "trying too hard" feeling from them, but I didn't give it much time there. So I wanted your opinion about the others. Thanks.
