I think it's Romo. Yes, he had the 3 picks in a half, not good. But, Parcells made the move, because he felt it gave his team the best chance. Drew simply isn't getting it done, taking all the 1st team reps in practice, getting all the game play to this point. Bledsoe has thrown 2 ugly goaline picks in the last 4 games, taking his team out of good game position. Those are team deflators. He's killing his team. Romo can do no worse. I think they have to stick with Romo, or lose the team.
3 INTs in a half isn't very good.I was wonderring if, after Brady, Drew would be super motivated now.
We also had him lose his job in Buffalo to Losman. That didn't motivate him either. I love Drew Bledsoe as a QB, but in my love, I recognize his weaknesses. He has to be completely protected. If he's takes more than a couple of shots, he starts to dance, and when he's dancing, he makes moronic decisions iwth the football. When he's got time, there's not a better QB in the game. When he doesn't have time, he's below average. He's completely immobile, with the Venus de Milo a better fit at the position most weeks. Dallas has been unable to protect him, and psychologically he's up against a wall. His feet are not set, he's got the Drew Dance going, and he's not in a happy place. When Bledsoe hops before he throws, he's in a happy place, and he's a great QB. When Drew Dances, he's horrible and indecisive, "whadoo I do with the ball, they're coming, oh no", and he just whings it. He's dancing, and it's time for change. Upside, mobility from Romo. Downside? Both will be throwing picks. I think on the upside, you have to go with Romo. The downside is about equal, for different reasons, but about equal. My biggest knock on Bledsoe, and it's more a frustration, because he's one of the smartest guys ever to come into the league, based on the Wonderlic test. He's never gotten real good at pre-snap reads. He constantly misreads the coverage. Again, youi're getting this from a guy who thinks Bledsoe is a borderline HOF candidate, based on a very productive career, but an inability to put his team over the top. Xanax? Does drew need an anti-anxiety drug?
