What Dynasty or Keeper League Trades have you done? (1 Viewer)

Hi...just curious what you off-season team owners have been getting done in the way of trades?

I have been trying to shop McAllister, but since many feel that Bush will become the #1 at some point (sooner than later), there are not any takers.

I did acquire WR Marvin Harrison in my dynasty to try and strengthen my WRs. Cost me a first and second round picks, to a team that is rebuilding.

Whatcha got? :banned:

My biggest off-season trade was getting SJax and Poslusny for Ronnie Brown, Alex Smith(TE), Nick Collins, 1st, 3rd and 4th round rookie picks in 2008(should be late picks, as my team is pretty stacked)

Same league and with same team as i made above trade with i made two other trades:

I give Vince Young, and receive 1.3 rookie pick(Calvin Johnson)

I give 2007 2.10 and 3.10 rookie picks and get Reggie Brown.

only had two real trades worth mentioning.

Just prior to cutting him. I traded Kamerion Wimbley and a 7th for O'dell thurman and a 4th....then cut Thurman and picked up DJ Williams

traded Edge, Vilma, 1.6 and 3.3 for LJ, Manny Lawson, 4.6 and 7.3...then cut Lawson for Dansby. pretty happy with my off season so far.

I am not sure if my trades will seem crazy so I am going to list my team. I had a good team with young and veteran talent. I got more and more concerned with VY being my guy since Ten did nothing to help him at WR. I am also pretty down on Hasselback. I gave up a lot of players to get the two guys I got but feel I got the most talented player in both deal.

Team Now:

Ravens

Adam V

Bulger

VY

S. Jackson

Addai

Bush

Turner

Peterson (Chicago)

Wayne

Fitz

Ward

and a few other players

Deal 1: I gave up McAllister, KJ, and Tinker Bell for Addai

Deal 2: I traded away Hasselback, Kevin Curtis, and 2 late 2nd round rookie picks this year for Bulger

Most people I spoke to after the deal understood my logic but felt I gave up a lot to get both players. If both stay healthy then I am set. If they don't then I gave up depth to get talent and it will hurt me. All and all I am very happy that I was able to get 2 top 5-8 players at their repective positions.

any of you put stipulations in trades? Last year I traded my 1st round 07 pick before the week 10 trade deadline for Lee Evans, turn out to be the #7 pick. The other guy put the following stipulation in the trade.

If Evans scores 10 or more TD for the rest of the year he also gets my 2nd round pick. I did it because I did not think he would score 10 TDs in the last 8 weeks of the regular season.

League 1

Traded: Turner, Chambers, Cotchery, 1.5 rookie pick, and 2008 3rd rounder

Received: DeAngelo, Boldin, 2.2, 2.6, 2008 2nd rounder

League 2

Traded: Edwards, Stallworth

Received: Colston, 3.7 rookie pick

Traded: Walker, Benson, Delhomme, Bills, 1.4 rookie pick, 2008 3rd rounder

Received: Palmer, 1.1 rookie pick, Bears D, 2008 2nd rounder

League 3

Traded: Evans, 1.8 rookie pick

Received: Fitzgerald, 3.4 rookie pick

League 4

Traded: Pennington, V.Jackson, 3.8 rookie pick

Received: Campbell, 2.9, 3.3 rookie picks

League 5

Traded: Troy Williamson, 2008 3rd rounder

Received: Campbell, 2008 2nd rounder

Traded: Heath Miller, Irons

Received: Cooley, Kolb

And i did a ton several months ago to get 1.1 or 1.2 picks in several leagues, but too tired to go look all those deals up. :lmao:

Just acquired Deuce for Chester Taylor. I feel Deuce has a better shot of being #1 in the future.Possile that the Saints waive Deuce this offseason (replace with Pittman) and Deuce gets a little run as the #1 somewhere for a couple years. I don't see the Vikes waiving Taylor or anyone giving him the better time share elsewhere. :lmao:

My league is unique, receiving yards are worth two times rushing yards so top WRs and TEs are gold. RBs who contribute receiving yards are platinum.

Gave Hasselbeck, Turner, a 2nd this year and a 2nd next year for Gates

Gave two 2nds this year and moved down one spot from 1.4 to 1.5 for L Evans and J Jones :steal:

Only two so far...

Gave Vick(pre-canine calamity - gulp)/Gates to get THenry/Caddy (we can start up to 3 RBs)

Gave LJ, 1.05, 1.14, 5.11 to get LT, 1.10, 4.5, 5.14

We're a 4 keeper, so LT, Portis, THenry, CJ look good right now. Could sub in KJones, Caddy, Norwood or RMoss if I had to. I still have 1.03, 1.04, as well.

Gave: Williamson & Brandon Jones.

Got: Lee Evans.

What gets me is some of you guys quoting trades from 4 or five dynasty leagues. Sure this stuff is fun, very fun at times, but when you have so many teams and therefore players, the way I see it you're essentially taking every horse in the race or all the numbers on the roulette table. Every given week you're going to have someone go off on one of your teams. That has to detract from the excitement and 'ownership' feeling of FF.

IMO, offseason dynasty trades become more valuable and enjoyable when you're only trading for the one team you're passionate about.

Although to be fair I guess I have no dramas with people playing as many redraft and keeper money leagues as they want.

My three biggest trades in my dynasty league (team in sig). What I GAVE listed first

C. Benson

K. Clemens

C. Pennington

FOR

2007 Draft Pick - Round 2

QB C. Palmer

2008 Draft Pick - Round 3

LB L. Foote

LB C. June

TE L. Pope

FOR

2007 Draft Pick - Round 3

2008 Draft Pick - Round 1 (should be top 3 pick with a good chance to be #1 overall)

2007 Draft Pick - Round 2

2008 Draft Pick - Round 2

2008 Draft Pick - Round 3

FOR

2007 Draft Pick - Round 3

2008 Draft Pick - Round 5

LB E. Sims

I want the new Williamson and Jones owner in my league pronto.
:banned: He's the league whipping-boy that everyone goes to first with trade offers. We've often thought about ridding him from the league, but: 1) He seems to keep things moving when things get stale on the trade front sometimes (you know, when people get a little too comfortable with their teams)2) I think some of us managers like to think of him as a feeder team. He takes some absolute reaches on players in drafts; players that we might want but will take someone else first, however a couple of them might work out so we get them back off him eventually. It hurts when someone else gest in there just before you do, but if you can get him just when he's right for the picking.....

I've been trying to trade for Peyton so that I can have the #1 ranked player at every position of my team. I've offered Hasslebeck/Parker, Hasslebeck/Addai, and Hasslebeck/Maroney. So far no dice.

Trades 3, 9, and 10 look ridiculous to me.Trade 8 looks ridiculous too, but this time it looks like you got robbed rather than the other way around.

I have 2 teams in a 10 team, 12 player keeper league with IDP's, 26 man rosters so since we haven't drafted for 2007 our rosters are all at 12 players. Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1TE, 1 RB/WR/TE Flex, 1 PK, 1 DL, 1 LB, 1 DB.

team 1

I traded Donovan McNabb & Andre Johnson plus 3.07 pick

Lee Evans plus 1.02 & 2.02 picks

team 2

I traded Terrel Owens for DeAngelo Williams

As a Dynasty League Manning Owner, these would not have done it for me as well. Palmer is the only QB I would most likely replace Manning with...and I don't think you find too many Dynasty Palmer owners trading him away.

I think every league needs a team that can shake things up when the league grows stagnant. We brought in a new team owner this year, and he is wheeling and dealing to make his team lean and mean. Some of the other owners were getting upset because he was doing so much wheeling and dealing, but he already informed everyone that he is not playing for this year, but for the long haul. This is the team I got Marvin Harrison from.

Dynasty League

I trade Calvin Johnson for Norwood and a 3.02 (Posluszny)

My other receivers are: R. Moss, Harrison, Fitz, C. Johnson, Colston..Plus other good young ones...

I like Norwood's Chances.

I've been trying to trade for Peyton so that I can have the #1 ranked player at every position of my team. I've offered Hasslebeck/Parker, Hasslebeck/Addai, and Hasslebeck/Maroney. So far no dice.
As a Dynasty League Manning Owner, these would not have done it for me as well. Palmer is the only QB I would most likely replace Manning with...and I don't think you find too many Dynasty Palmer owners trading him away. :wall:
As a Manning owner i would trade him for any of those combos, and i am already stacked at RB.
