12-4... Nice. I guess pimping Gold was a bad idea. I also guess Gold and Wilson are going to be very hard to project going forward. Fwiw, Shanahan was praising Wilson for the hard work he put in rehabbing his hammy to get 100% for this game. Maybe Wilson is back to his top 15 ways... but I'd need to see it again to believe it. Sometimes the ball bounces your way more than expected.

He carried me to improbable last-minute victories in a couple of leagues.Coming into tonights game Wilson had 14 tackles on the season, tonight he added 16 more!I didn't get a chance to see much of the game, why was he so effective tonight??
Softened the blow of losing Larry Fitzgerald somewhat. 
A lot of his solos were of the "right place, right time" variety. And I don't mean that in a disparaging sense. He played a bit deeper, picked up plays a bit earlier and snuffed em out with a bit more ruthlessness than he has to date. I've always felt he was a better "real life" player than fantasy contributor, and he seldom blows up with a huge game like this. He's also been a bit hindered by playing for a team that tends to dominate time of possession. He's been the classic "high floor/low ceiling, 5 solo, 2 assist, 1PD, sack-every-4th game" MIKE that you plug into your lineup content with the fairly steady statline he provides. He also almost never misses a game to injury, which is an underrated bonus with any IDP. It is refreshing to see him blow up like this, but if past performances are any indication, don't expect a repeat anytime soon.
