Finally practiced again and wasn't even on the injury report this week. So, he was a healthy scratch???

Is he still the starter if healthy?

Any insight would be appreciated.

With the emergence of Lance Moore as the short route/quick possession receiver for the offense, Patten has lost his role. You can safely drop Patten at this point and pick up Moore if he is still available. So far the WR situation seems to be shaking out:

King of the hill: Colston

Welker wannabe: Moore

Bomb catcher: Henderson

Dumpoff: Reggie Bush

Wild Card: Meachem

Patten just doesn't fit into their picture much anymore and is not a strong play any week from here out.
