What happened to R. Moss? (1 Viewer)

Basically he has to try and catch the football in order to get points. He wasn't planning on trying anymore this year so zero it is.

I went through the play by play and I noticed they threw the ball 2 times to him....the 2nd one being on the last play of the game from the 10 yard line for a TD. The ball was intercepted.

KC has the best stats against the opposing team's #1 WR. Hermie football....and Patrick Surtain is the reason for it.

Look at the targets before this week. He is their #1....too bad it does not show up much on FF stat sheets

I went through the game stats and I noticed that Randy is candy. As in Candy A##. Moss is a worthless piece of " I want to be traded" crap. I hope that this helps. :banned:

I missed the game how did he get bupkis for the game ? Was it Shell or an injury? What gives?
Have we not paid attention at all this year?Sooner or later, people will wake up and realize Moss is nothing more than average at best, givin his current situation.

When Aaron Brooks was asked why Randy Moss was not a bigger part of the game he replied, "Maybe because I'm unhappy and I'm not too excited about what's going on, so my concentration and focus level tends to go down sometimes when I'm in a bad mood. So all I can say is that if you put me in a good situation and make me happy, man, you get good results."

;)

He's the laziest route runner in the NFL. The line can't give them enough time to let Randy fly 40+ yards down the field negating his worth. That is the only thing he is good for, and given the right supporting cast he could still hold value. If you're in dynasty, hold him in hopes that he gets to run a deep route in a different uniform next year. Any O-line in the NFL is an improvement to what he's got now. Redraft, drop him for D.Henderson. If he won't make an effort to run a pass route (other than the '9'), won't make an effort to run after the catch and won't run block, he may make the bench by the end of the season. Shooting off his mouth, a la J.Porter, will only accelerate this process.

Do you keep those stats yourself or you have a link to a site? That would be pretty useful. Thanks.
I also have heard that stat.....I will try and find a link, but what the man says is true....To go along with that, KC is in the the bottom 5 in defending a teams #3 WR.
Kevin, I've heard this stat mentioned before (Defense vs opposing #1, #2, #3s)Where is this provided? Thanks!

Simple answer..the guy wants out like Porter..hmmm come to think of it the hold damm team wants out :lmao:

So if he performs bad maybe just maybe they trade him and porter and the hold damm team :lmao:

Now other teams know he's just faking it (performance wise) to get the hell outta there and other teams will try to offer a 4th round pick for him..(Davis aka owner is one crazy SOB) so he will go for that trade I bet and say give me a 1st and 4th round pick and I'll throw in Porter with Moss...of couse this is just my opinion but chit does happen in the NFL..thats why we love it! :lmao:

:goodposting: I traded to get him, but it was purely on the basis of a possible move next year. He's done like dinner.

The Raiders ran several sets with 1 or 2 receivers on the field where Moss was on the sidelines.

Anyone care to speculate where he might end up. I just traded for him in a keeper league.

New York Giants if I'm lucky.

All they have now is Plastic Bird#### with Toomer out. Carter and Tyree are special teams fodder only.

Check out the team defense rankings at Football Outsiders - they list defensive rankings against receiver types...http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/teamdef.php

In redraft leagues he is no longer worthy of a roster spot in all but the deepest of leagues.

If guys like Devery Henderson, Wes Welker, Eric Moulds are out there, these guys are likely to produce more than Randy for the balance of 2006.
