What helps you get the best lineup (1 Viewer)

What part or section do you guys use the most on the paid site to get your teams ready for the game?

Just curious what you guys read and use each week.

I usually go with my gut and my knowledge/opinion of matchups, etc, but I'll check the Custom Cheatsheets as sort of a second opinion - the rankings themselves typically won't sway my decision, but if Dodds, Bloom, etc have a vastly different opinion than I do I'll investigate it further. There have been a couple of occasions where I successfully made a lineup change because of this. And I always keep an eye on the Sunday morning updates/news (plus the Shark Pool) to make sure I don't miss any late-breaking info.

Tomarken....you look at what I do.....I was just wondering is there anything during the week you guys like and read each week on football guys...I have not figured out which guy I like the best yet in terms of reading...although I am leaning towards Dodd

My routine to set line-up:

1. I set next week's line-up on Sunday, while this week's games are being played. This is my gut check.

2. Messageboards / news sites

3. Messageboards / news sites

4. Injury Report

5. Messageboards / news sites

6. Messageboards / news sites

7. Projections from multiple sources (don't like those that use decimal scoring for TDs, no one scores .4 of a TD) - see if my gut check doesn't jive.

8. Messageboards / news sites

9. Messageboards / news sites

10. Sunday inactives

11. Messageboards / news sites

Game on.

Don't really need any material from a pay site since all of the above is readily available without cost. Do pay to play in the $ contests though.

We must have shared our recipe, i'd say this is my exact method to a T.
