14 team league that starts 2 DL, 2 LB, 2 DB (26 man roster). I was able to put a few guys on IR to free up roster spots.

no, it is actually a 12-teamer! But odd rules... only have 1 bench slot on defense, but still, you can't let a top-10 DB go after 1 bad week, but then again, I'm not complaining!I also managed to get Geathers in a couple and was happy about that

I got Stephen Cooper when another team dropped him because he didn't want two LBs from the same team (he also had Matt Wilhelm).

I didn't even really need Cooper as I already have Briggs, Tatupu, Willis and Derek Smith and I can only start 3. However, it gives me lineup flexibility for bye weeks and opens up the possibility of a trade.

I was just harassing you. In all my leagues the bench is deep enough that most of the players in this thread were already rostered.I did bag Copper & Wilhelm several months ago in several leagues for little to nothing. Its looking like cooper is the one to keep rostered though right?

Get this. He said Wilhelm was better and was taking Donnie Edwards role (this guy always had Edwards over the years).Now, i am not saying Wilhelm is a bad player - but given the choice between the two of them, I think Cooper is in the far better psoition to rack up tackle numbers.

WOW!I didn't get an IDP someone dropped, but because I'm so strong at lb (Ryans, Posluszny, Willis, D.J. Williams, and Dan I-Made-It-Through-Week-One Morgan--we start two lbs) that I was able to trade Willis for Lee Evans and shore up a real weakness on my team (Evans had a horrible week one, which helped me get him). It hurt to trade Willis, but it hurt worse being forced to start Reggie Brown at wr!BTW, I wouldn't have had Ryans (retained from last season), Pos, Williams, or DJ if not for this forum. Bless you all!!!

I snagged Cullen Jenkins this week as my #5 DL, replacing Bert Berry.
