What information do you use for your draft? (1 Viewer)

How do you use all the information provided to you on this site for your draft? Obviously you can't have 75 articles and 20 cheatsheets in front of you. What do you use to narrow down all the good info?

I've used the VBD Application and made notes on it based on everything i've read.

This year I had my first draft in about 5 years (it's a start up IDP dynasty league). I got most of my info from this site through the forums and podcasts and found out which players I liked and which ones I wanted to avoid. Then I just printed out the ADP rankings for the top players for each position so I had a rough idea of where players were going. I circled the players I liked, crossed off the players I didn't want to touch and went from there. I'm not sure how well it worked for me yet because the season didn't start, but I ended up being pretty happy with what I drafted.

I'm not a subscriber, but I heard the draft dominator is really helpful for a lot of people, so that's something you should consider as well.

I use Antsports ADP as a guide copied and pasted into a Word document where I can make notes and adjustments. Been doing this for years.

This year I:

1. Printed out ADP from fantasyfootballcalculator.com

2. Printed out rankings for each position from Sigmund Bloom

3. Waited for my turn 1.11

4. Cross referenced two lists and went with my gut

Simple, effective. The only time I varied from the lists was with Jamaal Charles, which was considered the reach of the draft, but was something I was committed to in any case.

I use the FF INDEX ppr cheatsheet as my draft player list. And get my sleeper/value players/up to the minutes changes, from this forum.

I am by far the most successful owner in my league, and it is mostly because of the discussions with you guys.
