What is a good "Trade Down" Draft Pick Trade? (1 Viewer)

For all 9 years of our league, we've allowed Owners to trade Draft Picks, but nobody has ever done it. A little bit of league info before I get into this question...

12 team, PPR Redraft, Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, TE, K, DST. 20 man rosters. 6 pts ALL TDs, standard otherwise, again PPR.

I drew the #2 pick. I have no clue if I can get an owner to make this trade, but I think I have one on the fence considering it, because he really wants MJD. I cam in high asking for a 3rd rounder, but the idea I plan to settle on:

My 1.02 for his 1.10 & 4.03 (#39 overall)

I have to do this deal right, even regardless of my thoughts on the situation, who I want, etc?

I believe Peterson is going 1 due to my knowledge of the owner picking in front of me. Obviously this leaves me my choice of MJD and Forte. I personally love Forte, even if I know he isn't going to the set the world on fire. He was beautifully consistent last year, and even with MJD finally being on his own, I just don't believe he is gonna do much more than he's ever done. Not calling him bad or anything, but he's seemingly the consensus #1 pick in a PPR, and I'm just not quite sold yet.

I love the idea of moving down, mainly because I think (hope?) I can get one of two guys that I like just about as much as Forte. Steve Slaton & Chris Johnson, in that order. I think both of them can be the same kind of solid play as Forte, but also have higher ceilings than Forte does. CJ is a bit more of a risk, with Lendale in the picture, but I almost view Slaton & Forte on the same level.

So if I can move down to 10, still get Slaton, and pick up an extra 4th rounder, I have to do this deal right? Even if I would bust out and not get either of those 2 players, I have no problem going with my top WR, and switching gears.

Just looking for general thoughts. Am I shooting way too high thinking anyone will give up a 4th? Am I not shooting high enough considering that person is moving up 8 spots, and still getting to keep their round 2 pick (#15 overall). Picking from 2 and 15 has to be awfully tempting to that owner as well. I don't believe this belongs on the "Help" board, as I'm looking for more discussion than just "do it" -- but if it needs moved, I understand.
