John Tomase, of the Boston Herald, reports New England Patriots RB Laurence Maroney (undisclosed) did not practice Tuesday, Aug. 29, and may not play in the team's preseason finale.

This is two undisclosed misses at practice in a row, and now he may not play in the final preseason game. Has anyone heard what is going on?

Maroney is fine. I doubt he will play in the 4th preseason game to keep him fresh for the season. He has looked unstoppable during the preseason, and is one Corey Dillon injury away from being a top 10 back!
