What is the worst dynasty trade you have been offered? (4 Viewers)

Just received this beauty prior to our rookie/free agent draft this weekend (10 team, full idp, 50 man rosters)

His sales pitch was "Just curious if you wanted some early pics this year since you traded most of yours away."

Team P gives:
Year 2013 Draft Pick 2.02
Year 2013 Draft Pick 3.05

Team T gives:
Johnson, Calvin DET WR
Year 2013 Draft Pick 5.10

I'm going to have to try that line. I like how he threw in the 5.10, you know, to even out the deal.

I need a QB, and asked a guy about RG3. He said:(mind you this is a start ONE QB league)

"How about Charles, Lynch, and a 2014 1st" (from a team guaranteed to miss the playoffs)

Yikes.

 
I've had several that are quite embarrassing. I just got this one yesterday so it is fresh in my memory:

I give: Victor Cruz, 1.02, 3.11

I get: 2.06, Morris Claiborne, Justin Smith

This is a league that doesn't really score well for IDPs and I value CBs with a big fat 0. Still plenty on the waiver wire.

 
This is from a 12 team, 15 keeper PPR I am in - technically not a dynasty league, but this trade offer is soooooo god awful I just had to share it:

I get:

Pull the trigger IMO. Shayne Graham isn't worth that much.

I always try to figure out the reasoning behind these offers. All I can think here is that your erstwhile partner thinks that Brown is better than Wallace (8 of 9 FBG staffers rank Wallace higher) and the Davis-Graham difference is the price of moving up.

A lot of the three trash for one stud I can at least figure out, but this guy is offering two worse guys for a couple of yours.

12 team PPR:

I was offered Antonio Brown and crap for Lynch, Decker and 2.04. I kindly rejected, even though it was pretty insulting, and countered with Lynch, Decker and 2.04 for Martin and A.Brown. Now I realize this might favor me slightly due to Martin being included (but it was far, far more even than his offer to me), but his response was 'Is this offer for real? Its pretty insulting' I'm thinking 'Did you just see the original offer you sent to me?' I don't get what goes thru some people's minds...

I'd agree that Miller is overvalued right now, but Greene blows donkeys.

Ummmm, no. Also, TEs receive 1.5 ppr and you can start as many as 3 (2 flex).

for

Julio, Finley, Jeffery and a 2014 1st

Not the worst, but I took Julio with the 4th pick in a start up and am obviously high on him.

I was offered the 3.10 rookie pick for Vereen. Same guy also told me I was crazy for turning down the 2.04 for David Wilson.

 
Not strictly a dynasty but in my keeper draft last week I received an e-mail that I will paraphrase:

Team X: I'll take your 7.08 and 8.03 and I'll give you 8.08 and 8.09

Me: Why would I give you two higher picks for two lower picks?

Team X: That's a fair point, maybe we can trade in the season

......... not at those prices buddy :S

 
OK....I've been offered some horrendous trades but never been compelled to post them here. But Steven Jackson for Julio Jones in a dynasty? Not Steven Jackson and a 2014 1st, which would have been automatically declined anyway, but SU Steven Jackson for Julio Jones?

Guy offers me Percy Harvin and his 1st round pick next year for Andrew Luck

Too funny! I'm the guy who offered harvin plus my 2014 1st...and knew id see it here based on cap'ns response back to me. If thought it seemed fair...

 
Difficult to judge without knowing league size/rules.

If it's a 12 team, 1QB, then I'd take that.

If it's a 16 team, or 2QB/Superflex, I wouldn't.

 
Got this yesterday, had to do a double take when I saw it:

I get: Helu, E.Sanders

I own Morris, had been trying to get Helu as a cuff. Politely declined....

Well it's a league where you can Flex a QB and yeah I should have mentioned that BUT even in a one quarterback league, you would have to already have a QB BETTER than Luck OR be rebuilding to take Harvin and the draft pick thus adding nothing to your team for this year.

Even with STUD QB and Luck, what are you going to get for a backup/bye QB?

I agree with this, but either way that offer has no business in this thread.

I get Nate Washington, Denarious Moore, and J Stew. 2012

I get Streeter and Royal. Both guys were cut after I declined
