What medication were they on at the time this offer was proposed? They might want to check the dosage again cause that’s just plain bad!!
I mean I can see Pickett & 2.11 for 1.10 & Metchie but the 1.03 has no place in this deal

Really not sure. I asked them if they forgot a player to include in the deal, but never got a reply

hence my "you gotta be kidding me" stare at the end of the conversation. "Can't give him away" = "can't find anyone stupid enough to overpay" apparently.

Reason #147 why I laugh inside everytime someone says "just flip Player X for _____" or "I'll deal Player X later on" like it's just sooooooo easy to make a trade happen, there's too many people like the above that make trading nearly impossible!

Reason #204 is that anytime you inquire about a player their "value" goes up infinitely because someone now wants that guy.........even though the owner with him was going to drop him at the next waiver run anyway.

Reminds me of how any high school football recruit automatically gains an extra star in their rating once they land on Alabama's target list. If Saban's after them then we must have them rated too low!
 
FFPC 1qb, guy just bought the team and sees I need a qb. Not the worst, but dude.........

Haha had to scroll to see what I posted earlier. That is 2 different teams in the same league. This most recent one he does every year all year. The older one is first terrible offer from him so I’m giving him a pass

Before dealing my 2024 1st for Bateman, and my 2024 2nd 3rd for Mayfield I let it be known I was shopping them for a QB/WR, and then for a QB, respectively.

Offer 1
I give: 2024 1st
I get: Nelson Agholor + KJO

I get: Slayton + Agholor

I get: Agholor + Metchie

I get: Juju Smith-Schuster (before he signed with NEP, not that it matters)

I get: Tua, Mayfield, Kyle Hamilton
(I have 4 solid safeties already and also HELL no)

These were all mindbogglingly terrible.

That said, the I messaged the dude trying to get Fields and basically told him he was untouchable save for a godfather offer, but I respect the attempt. We struck up a convo and one thing led to another and he dealt me Mayfield for the 2nd/3rd.

The Bateman offer came over as Bateman + 1.07 for Mims, Jordan Davis + 2023 1.01

The 1.01 was a non-starter, but again, while awful, I countered with 2024 1st for Bateman + 2023 3.14, and he countered with Bateman for the ‘24 1st.

So yeah - thanking people for their bad offers and keeping the discussion alive led to 2 pretty solid and needed trades.

But that whole list is laughably bad.

No trades with the Agholor manager? Lol. The fact that he thinks Agholor has value (or he thinks you think Agholor has value) is a strong tell that further discussions would be pointless.

I got essentially this offer in an FFPC superflex. (I give my '24 1st for his Cooper, '24 3rd, '24 4th.) I don't know that I would say it's the worst trade I've been offered, but it was pretty much an instant reject for me. Maybe if you have a competing team that needs a starting WR (mine needs more than that to be competitive), it's a consideration. But I don't think he's worth a superflex 1st.

Agree - it’s not the worst offer. Just a bad offer on a long list of worse ones. And older than I was seeking (I saw it as slightly less bad than the Lockett offer from the same dude)
 
If the completed trades thread had a deal where Cooper was moved for a future 1st, there would be people on both sides of it.
Unless of course the future 1st is predicted to be very high.

I have one league where I'd pay a future 1st for Cooper, but zero chance that guy moves Cooper for a projected playoff 2024 1st.
And as I've said before, every trade you turn down is the same as making the same trade in reverse.
Hence, that owner clearly prefers Cooper to the 2024 1st.

Personally Cooper leaves a bad dynasty taste in my mouth. Each to their own.

You should have countered 1.09 and 2.9 for Hurts, then either trade Hurts for a future 1st+ or another young asset. Probably better than what you will get at 1.9 and 2.9.

This thread has become a place for people that love to talk about their teams - getting “not so great” offers and posting them here.
Some of the offers in here aren’t even all that bad really.

The title of the thread leaves little room for people to participate if strictly followed. By definition, everyone should only have one submission, however, many people get many bad offers. Having people post offers they think are bad and see opinions counter to theirs can be constructive to help shape valuations. To only have a thread where everyone agrees is just an echo chamber where people can then feel a (false) sense of superiority about their knowledgeability over others.
I guess if someone doesn't like it, they can choose to not read/participate.
