What is your 2010 1st Round projection (1 Viewer)

A lot of big names that could make things fun....yeah, it's a fluff piece, but it's monday morning. I play PPR leagues, but you can put down your Non-PPR first round too, but please specify.

1. AP - Just the best

2. MJD Makes a strong case for #1. I suppose you could flip-flop these top 2.

3. Fitz - Just unstoppable.

4. Steven Jackson - Insane talent. Imagine him on a good team.

5. Rice - Household name now. Consistency over the past 5 weeks is KEY in head to head leagues.

6. Chris Johnson - just ridiculous on the edges. Inconsistency is the only knock.

7. Frank Gore - Injury bug continues, but as strong as they come on week to week production.

8. Rodgers - This guy has the most points in my league since the beginning of the 08 season until now.

9. Andre Johnson - You could probably flip flop him and Fitzy so dont lose sleep over their spot discrepency here.

10. Deangelo Williams - Concerns of his monster season should go away with his massive prduction as of late. Beast.

11. Brady/Brees/Manning - I thought they all deserved a mention here.

12. Wayne - Sure you could go Calvin here (he's got more talent), but Wayne has Manning and crazy consistency.

Flame away or just throw out yours. I threw this list out off of the top my head, so be gentle if there is a glaring omission.

MNF tonight!!

Good list. I also wouldn't put a QB on there esp at only 4 pts per td passing. BTW, I have 3 of those players on my 12 team ppr redraft. Can you guess which three ?

PPR for me. Andre slightly over Wayne. Gore there, continues to prove that when healthy, he is a beast.

For a .5 PPR, 6pt Pass TD league:

1) ADP

2) MJD

3) Turner

4) C. Johnson

5) Ray Rice

6) Gore

7) D. Williams

8) SJax

9/10/11 Fitzgerald/Wayne/Andre Johnson

12) Brees

turner was close for me, but in ppr he isnt nearly as valuable.
I felt that way, but seeing him continuall get TDs (which admittedly vary year to year) makes him land comfortably in my top 10. He is 7 in my 1PPR and I feel like he is just getting started.

You have Calvin Johnson in the top 20? Leaving off Benson? Benson will be a early 2nd steal next year. The dude is getting 30 carries a game and making good with that.

I personally like both players for the 2nd round next year. Benson has been a beast, but I always remember the bad years and they were really bad.Is it me, or is Calvin becoming an injury risk type player??

D. Williams just continues to get no respect. He should easily be in everyone's top 4 IMO. There is a pretty solid top 4 of:

MJD

D. Williams

C. Johnson

ADP

Rank them however you want, but they are a clear top 4 guys if you ask me.

stunning how Benson stil doesn't make your 2nd round.

For me, it's due in part to the high expectations I have for Jonathan Stewart going forward.

PPR redraft. A different list based on (a) personal expectations for individual player results for second half of '09 and (b) expectations for the 2010 offensive production of the player's respective NFL teams:

1. Ray Rice - really

2. ADP - only player on list whose position is NOT dependent upon QB expectations (whether Favre returns or not)

3. MJD

4. Gore - believe Alex Smith will develop enough to transform SF offense into a workable machine for Gore to produce consistent FF points

5. Pierre Thomas - biggest speculative placement in first round based on expectations he will take over (create?) a "primary" RB role in Sean Payton's offense

6. Chris Johnson - I don't have faith in Tenn's offensive development (and see distinct possibility of a rookie QB in the backfield)

7. Andre Johnson - a PPR beast in 2010 as the offense starts to fire on all cylinders (we've seen flashes of various aspects, but not there yet)

8. Steven Jackson - likelihood of a rookie QB drops him out of the top 5...too bad since his talent is unquestionable

9. Larry Fitzgerald - QB uncertainty leaves AJ in front of him...not a believer Warner can do it in 2010 and not sure about Leinart (yet)

10. DeAngelo Williams - he's great but Carolina offense will be a huge question mark in 2010

11. Drew Brees - should have all of his (still young and developing) skill players back in 2010...barring injury, he could be even scarier

12. Reggie Wayne - remember how quietly awesome and consistent Marvin Harrison was for all those years? This is the first year I've believed Wayne could be that guy

Cedric Benson deserves mention, but his overuse in 2009 scares the heck out of me in 2010. I know we've seen studies to discredit the "year after" effects, but it still scares me.

Peyton Manning always great, but to me an early 2nd rounder. Ditto for Brady.

I also like Michael Turner, but see him as an early 2nd rounder as well.

I'm also thinking San Diego's new rookie RB next season (um...assumption) will deserve 2nd round consideration. But then, I'm betting on better offensive line play in 2010 for these guys.

Just some thoughts to deviate from the norm...

I also think Ronnie Brown could approach first round status if he was used more in the passing game. This guy has fantastic hands. I suppose the wildcat limits those opportunities. And of course, Ricky isn't going anywhere yet.

 I knew I'd forget someone. He should probably be around 15th or so. I still have some issues with him that prevent him from making the top-10, but he's earned a spot in the 1st 2 rounds for sure. I do worry with the amount of carries he is getting right now that he may burn out, and perhaps somewhat irrationally, I just don't trust the Bengals not to be a complete mirage.
