What is "your" Super Bowl record? (1 Viewer)

I can remember watching 29 Super Bowls. Today will be the thirtieth. In six of those 29 games, I didn't really care who won.

"My" record in the remaining 23 is 10-13.

What's yours?

Not good. 5-15-1. Fortunately, two of those wins were by the Broncos.

The tie was for SB XXXVII. I refused to root for either team (Bucs vs. Raiders). I was just hoping for a good game, and I didn't even get that.

10-9 in Super Bowls I cared about going back to Super Bowl XV.

Most of those wins came cheering for the Pats and 49ers. A good chunk of those losses came cheering for the Bills (or more accurately against their opponents).

Don't care about today's game one bit so my record will be the same regardless.

Interesting question...I'll have to go through and think about it:

2005: Rooted hard for Pittsburgh (1-0)

2004: No comment (2-0)

2003: Rooted hard for Carolina (2-1)

2002: Honestly can't remember caring at all. I know I didn't like Oakland, but I don't think I rooted for Tampa.

2001: Rooted hard for St. Louis (2-2)

2000: Rooted hard for Baltimore (3-2)

1999: Don't think I cared

1998: Too depressed to care

1997: Don't think I cared

1996: Rooted for Green Bay (4-2)

1995: Didn't care

1994: ""

1993: ""

1992: ""

1991: ""

1990: Rooted for Buffalo (4-3)

1989: This is the first Super Bowl I remember, but I certainly didn't care.

That's 10 Super Bowls I didn't care about, and a 4-3 record in the other 7. I guess that makes this my 18th SB, and I will root for the Colts. I don't care too much, but care more than during most Super Bowls. I like Colts fans and I like Dungy and Manning.

16-19 for teams I rooted for.

1st one I remember was Dallas-Miami. I was and have been a Dallas fan, and have rroted for them every Super Bowl since. I have rooted against Pittsbvurgh every Super Bowl they have been in. Indianapolis this year.

My record's pretty lousy, mostly because I didn't start caring until I made it a policy to root for the AFC until they broke the losing streak. But even the one time I decided to root for the favorite (2001 Rams), there was a huge upset.

2005: indifferent

2004: Eagles (0-1)

2003: Panthers (0-2)

2002: Bucs (1-2)

2001: Rams (1-3)

2000: indifferent

1999: Titans (1-4)

1998: indifferent

1997: Broncos (2-4)

1996: Patriots (2-5)

1995: Steelers (2-6)

1994: Chargers (2-7)

1993: Bills (2-8)

1992: Bills (2-9)

I usually like the underdog but there are just some teams I don't like or didn't like at that time. I used to hate Denver the worst but I always thought a lot of Elway and wanted him to win at the end of his career. the only games besides last year when my team was in it that I really rooted for anyone though was the three 1990s Super Bowls when the Cowboys were playing and for Tennessee in 2001. I rooted against the Cowboys so I am 0-5 when I really want one particular team to win. Not good.
