What kind of beer is everyone drinking tonight? (3 Viewers)

Sly Fox Route 113 IPA here. ####### awesome, even though I don't know why they only sell it in cans.

Anyone in the Philadelphia area needs to hit Capone's in Norristown. Just found out about it and they have a great selection of six-packs and singles (which is an unbelievable rarity her in PA, for those who don't know). The owner is super passionate and will order anything that you are looking for.
They sell it in 22 oz bombers here.
Yeah, I actually saw that at a bar recently for the first time.

If you are on 113 keep heading towards Downingtown and check Victory Brewing. Then since you are out that far, take yourself to Union Jacks who has a great list.

Growler of Victory Hop Wallop. I feel sorry for anyone who can't get this.

See above. But I am not familiar with Union Jacks.

The VB brew pub is pretty decent. Union Jacks does not brew anything on their own. They do make a great variety of hot wings to go along with the numerous choices of beer that they do have. One warning is that place only accepts cash.

Having a Stone Levitation tonight. A very sad banana because tonight was supposed to be the Founders Beer Dinner at my local place but they postponed it.

Cigar City Humidor IPA.

Super complex. Can't really pinpoint what I'm tasting. Has to be the Spanish Cedar I guess. Really good. I don't smell a lot of hops or taste them, but I don't disagree that it's an IPA either. Maybe Wood Ale would be a better name though? Getting the bitterness at the end though.

Good stuff. I have their Zukov stout to try soon too.

Anyone have any favorite Cigar City brews? I have a friend going to Tampa for xmas and said he'd bring me back some brews.

ETA:

I'm glad I poured off a couple tasters of this. I would have struggled to drink the whole bomber. Would be a great 12oz.

Scored liquid gold at the store yesterday: two cases of Great Lakes Christmas Ale.

Gotta get it while you can. Flies off the shelves faster than they can stock it.

Hunahpu's seems to get good reviews too.Never had a CC beer, here.

Had to do some errands all over SE Michigan today. The upside was I was able to stop at a couple beer stores that are usually too far out of my way. I picked up:

Jolly Pumpkin: Oro de Calabaza, Noel de Calabaza and Fuego Del Otono.

Shorts: The Liberator, Cup A Joe Coffee Creme Stout

New Holland: Cabin Fever, Imperial Hatter, and Charkoota Rye Smoked Doppelbock Lager

Darkhorse: One Oatmeal Stout and Scotty Karate Scotch Ale

Had a #####'s Brew, Redemption, and now a Saison Du Buff.

First #####'s Brew. Been holding that episode of Brewmasters back until I felt like drinkikng. ut. Good episode; great beer. Wish I had a couple to age. Really really liked it.

The other two are two favorites of mine. Amazing brews.

Had a Horseheads IPA last night that must have been less than 3 weeks old. Just great stuff.

Stone IRS night before. Doesn't get much better.

Have some Alaskan Smoked Porter and Pliny flying in from the Left Coast this AM. Should be a merry Christmas......

Central Waters is one of my favorites, they recently released the Bourbon Barrel Stout and Bourbon Barrel Cherry Stout, check ot see if they have those first. The others your referenced while they are good can be had after the Bourbon Barrel Releases.

Finishing up a Founders Nemesis, Trying ot decide should I go for the Surly Furious, Central Waters Brewhouse Coffee Stout, or Half Acre Daisy Cutter.
Want to send me some of all of those?
I could hook you up, unfortunately I just ran out of my last Nemesis, present to the boss for Christmas. I have a connection in Minnesota that gets me some Surly. I have two cans of Furious and two Daisy Cutters along wiht 2 Central Waters Brewhouse. The Brewhouse was fantastic.Let me know I am always willing to part with something. By the way any luck on the Bourbon County? I was just in the basement looking at my beer collection and found a 4 pack of 2007 Bourbon County, like putting on a pair of pants and finding $20 in the pocket.

I got a Vanilla. Might be getting a Rare, but the local store wasn't sure. They said they're supposed to get a case, but it was supposed to have arrived already and it never showed.

Gotten hooked on Colorado Native the past couple of months. It's a Coors product, but d*** tasty. Light hop with a real smooth finish.

I think it's only available locally and I highly recommend it.

My favorite right now. :goodposting: :banned:

Imperial Pint Glass

3oz of Lindeman's Framboise Lambic (Raspberry) poured into the bottom

12oz of Franziskaner next...let settle

1oz of Lambic on top for good masure

Delicious festive X-Mas brew

Very nice MOP!Popped a Stone Levitation Ale.
Stone is awesome.Wife and I rolled on to Lincoln down here in SoBe last night and stopped at this little place called Zeke's. This is a beer only place that has 200 bottle beers but also about 15-20 taps. They just happen to have "Winter Solstice" by Anderson Valley...I said please pour. My wife had never had it and I actually only had tasted it int the bottle previously. We didn't move from there for 2.5 hours and I lit up a ciger and sat outside. We had a blast.

Taking it easy after putting down a growler last night :lmao:

Gorges, EBC Winter Witte, Weyerbacher Winter, etc...
