What kind of beer is everyone drinking tonight? (2 Viewers)

Looks like BTG is truly dead ####### banana. That pisses me off. We had plenty of quality content there I was hoping to keep even if we migrated elsewhere. What we'll do from here is follow up on the suggestions and offers in this thread lately to put up another board on our own site. So maybe we can make lemonade with these lemons and get motivated to get onto our site after this setback.
:lmao: BTW, my offer of donating some of furley's money still stands. :lmao:
pretty sure beagle could get behind this too.
We could all get behind donating your money.
agreed.Worth an annual pittance for the trade opportunities alone.

Organized Chaos offered to help out a while back. I forwarded PM exchange to NG and TT. Any thoughts? I looked into it and it seems better than the freebie phpbb. Cost would be $5/month and well worth avoiding freebie phpbb.

$5/month isn't much at all. Seems to be worth it.

Count me in.

Southern Tier Un-Earthly tonite.
Frigging love this brew.Having Kalamazoo Stout via TT later. First stout that I've had in a while methinks.
Color me impressed. I gave it a 4.4.I keep 'falling back' to the DIPAs lately. It became my favorite style just about instantly, not to mention that Impys can be tough to drink in the hot weather...unless you're sitting next to a campfire with a nice cigar.

Thought about getting a 12 pack of Busch in cans the other day, just for the hell of it. Anyone had it lately?

I'm sure it's just fine. And cans is definitely the way to go. Bottles can be off-tasting and harbingers of evil.Yep, you're best bet is to stay in the can and have a Busch.

Me too.
In.I'll pay for the whole first year if Beer Monkey isn't invited for that duration.
in for Year 2. :wall:
Org. Chaos seems like a good guy, too. He and I exchanged multiple emails last week regarding another website project I want to start. He seems eager to help and wants to join whatever board we create. He's a homebrewer as well (IIRC).

So, you're in for year 3?

Midnight Sun Conspiracy
Midnight Sun?? Is this your first from that brewery or have you posted that you have drank this recently? One of those breweries that few will ever try (myself probably included).
My first. I do have another of their beers in my cellar. But I want more...they have quite a few high profile beers I really want and will probably go after here in a few days.

IMO, there is little doubt that gator and furley will cross paths in the next 2 yrs., and when those paths cross, you'll get your headlock wish and probably a whole lot more man-lovin' than you bargained for. So I'm in for yr. 4. But if on the 231st day of yr. 3, you havent got your headlock, I shall concede and pay for the 3rd yr. instead of the 4th.X ________________ < sign here

Yeah I think I gave it around that. #2 to Hopslam so far.Took me a long time to get into IPAs and DIPAs but DIPAs emerged as my fave style eventually.Kalamazoo is a terrific brew. I'd give it a 4.2/5. Probably the highest rated stout ever from me that ISNT an imperial.

I have had their Conspiracy, IPA, and DIPA. All were good. I also have the Arctic Rhino on hand (thanks DB!) and now have Arctic Devil and Gluttony coming soon. Seems to be a rock solid brewery.

I REALLY like the barrel aged stuff. To me, that beats a RIS, most any day. Abyss and KBS are both outstanding, but I think Bourbon County Stout takes the cake.

I was fortunate enough to get it on tap a couple of times at Old Chicago in GR, they had that and some non impressive Shorts Beers.

You can get Short's at a few places in Kalamazoo (IPA)... and they still have Hopslam in Battle Creek at The Hunt Club, if you are ever down there.
