I pulled up the draft guys site all that was there was last year's stuff. Interesting to go back see how you guys did, but i was looking for info on this year's class. I was hoping to get a head start for my dynasty leagues. Guess I'll have to for Waldmen's before I can get some info.

I wouldn't say he lost passion, just think a little one around now changed things for him!

Good things come to those who wait is how i am approaching this. :)

We need to re-launch the site with a different platform - it has been taking longer than expected. And yes, I am home with my 14-month old boy, which takes up a lot of the time I would usually be spending completely immersed in the draft at this time of year - going to the all-star games and otherwise eating, drinking, and sleeping draft.

Bloom, congrats on the kid! Will TodayinFantasy be back? That was my favorite site of them all. One site to rule them all!

Congrats, about 14 months after the fact, but I never received a birth announcement. I hope you hold him on your lap - and feed him if appropriate - when you're working on FFB so he absorbs all the good stuff so you can be Bloom & Bloom down the road a piece.I, too, have missed your Internet postings - especially draftguys.com, since besides the actual Bloom insights I found the format ultra-convenient and compatible for my personal way of looking/evaluating rookies as far as both dynasty and redraft leagues are concerned. So keep up the great work, personal-wise and professional-wise.And a Happy St. Patty's Day to you and Bloom, Jr.Lexus :D

Thanks Lexus - I do plan on writing up some draft stuff very soon - even if I have to just post it here (been in New Zealand for the last few weeks, just getting back in groove), and of course the Audiblewill be draftcentric through the draft, including the 10 pm live Thursday night show w/ Cecil, Matt Waldman, and myself.

And Robert B. Sorter? Will we be able to benefit from his slicing, dicing, mincing and ricing efforts this year?

That anaysis was the singular most useful tool every invented. I think it went by the way side because it was actually falling under the category of "way too much work?"

Maybe you can hire a contract employee to complete the effort if Robert is tied up with other (long winded) chores? I mean just because the anlysis was not in the written word format doesn't mean that it wasn't ULTRA useful.

I think it was too much last year, but I'll reach out to him this year and see if he's up for it!

bloom has lost passion for fantasy football
Is this public knowledge, or an assumption?

I have checked the draftguys site regularly, and was hoping for something again this year....
yeah its public knowledge, and Bloom is really the ring leader of that group everyone pretty much just copies Bloom unless it has to do with the Denver Broncos
I can't disagree with the bolded enough.

Not usually in the habit of quoting myself but I can't help it when making this offer:.....was in the local Safeway the other day and Jonesin' for the Rookie FFB fix-a-roo.....the new FIRST MAGAZINE on the draft was out so I swallowed my pride and to check out I went.....GET THIS.....$9.95 after reading the fine print!

So, if Sorter needs a group to anti-up the ridiculous fees for these rags, I'd rather send him $-A TEN SPOT-$ than waste it on a one time purchase. I mean the cost to do a Rbt. Sorter raw goods acquisition is getting right up there!

I'll assist in raising the funds.....LEAGUE-SAFE.....$$$$$.....!!!!!

I think we all know the real reason these guys are not producing any content this year.
As a guy involved in Draftguys the last few years - I'm very curious what you know that I don't.FYI - it has zero to do with Matt and the RFP.

Fixing the site in the old Expression Engine software has been harder than anticipated and building it from the ground up right now is something none of us have the time to do... that being said there are still a lot of outlets carrying our draft coverage and we're doing the Thursday night show... sorry that this hasn't come together as we had hoped.

So it's pretty close to the draft... do Bloom, Lammey, and Garda have some pre-draft rankings for us to look at, even if Draftguys isn't back?

I did some work on a Draft Guide (3 round mock, WR/QB analysis) for CheeseheadTV and several videos (posted in my sig). I'm putting a new video up today and am feeling ambitious - so there may be a first round only video mock next week :football: . Otherwise probably a written one.I'll post some stuff here and some of the other sites in the next week as well.

Top 20 of Pre-Draft Bloom 100 is going to Footballguys this week, with remainder to come before the big event.

Yes!

I'll have my rankings and at least one mock draft up on my Ticket All Star page.... http://denverssportsstation.com

They did a really nice job on that website of featuring the people from the shows instead of some logo. The rotating pictures of the hosts are something I haven't seen before and really put you guys out there... nice.

The whole thing seems pretty fragmented. I purchased a three year sub and then waldman's rsr went pay per view, now the rest of you guys can't coordinate a meaningful predraft list. What's up?

Draftguys /= footballguysPretty much everyone on DG works at FBG but our DG not going this year isn't reflective of anything quality or content wise on FBG. I just want to be clear on that. One has little to do with the other.

Folks, I'm starting a full-time draft writer gig for Bleacher Report tomorrow - no time for Draftguys this year, but Cec has his ESPN Denver blog at we're still cranking out audibles and being active on Twitter, so there will be no shortage of draft content out there from us.

Time for these guys to start cranking out some content.
Think draftguys and dynastyguys are so 2010.
I don't even go to either of them anymore.A lot of neglect there.
Subscriptions are done and paid for. Why do people need to complain still?I think we should be congratulating the staff for all having things going right in their personal and professional lives. Cecil keeps getting gigs, Bloom has got his kid, Dodds seems to be headlining a ton of bigwig fantasy events and seems to be enjoying his success. Let them enjoy the fruits of what they worked for.

Every reward comes at some price. Just because YOU don't see it one way doesn't make it right.
