In my league, owners of these players will not make the playoffs:

LT

Randy Moss

Willie Parker

Reggie Wayne

Tony Romo

Brett Favre

The same team owns LT and Moss... bet he thought he was a lock...

Actually the guy I most feared didn't make the playoffs. Had Peyton and several other stars, but he made a trade to get Ryan Grant late in the year. Almost had to face him. I think he's good for 175 and 3 this week vs. Oakland at home.

Also, another owner had ADP and Braylon Edwards and didn't make the playoffs. Hard to do.

Willie Parker

Willis McGahee

Larry Fitzgerald

Marques Colston

Donovan McNabb

Rudi Johnson

Frank Gore

Marion Barber

Antonio Gates

Roy Williams

Anquan Boldin

Laurence Maroney

Reggie Wayne

Steve Smith

Maurice Jones-Drew

Lee Evans

One conference was so bad that a team with a record of 6-7 made it to the playoffs (Tom Brady owner).

What players are not going to be in your fantasy playoffs?
Romo, SJax, Rudi Johnson, RGrant, Owens, Fitzgerald, CJUnfortunately all on my team (10 team, highest point scoring team, highest point scoring against team) :lmao:

Our league only has 2 out of 10 teams not make the playoffs.

One team was run by an imbicile who didn't win a game. His best players were Matt Hasselbeck & Marion Barber.

The other guy has Peyton, Braylon Edwards and DeMeco Ryans (IDP league)....his RB's killed him. He drafted LJ and Jacobs and traded LJ for Ronnie Brown right before Brown went down.

He then promptly tanked this weeks game to get a better draft pick. It didn't hurt anyone but the guy he jumped for a draft spot, but I feel so bad for him that I don't really mind.

Biggest ones...

Brady and Manning....out. Also Brees, Rivers.

TO, Welker, TJ Housh, S. Smith...out. Also Harrison, Driver, Calvin Johnson.

LT, Barber, R. Bush, McGahee...out Also S. Jackson, R. Grant, J. Lewis

Many in my league:

QB: Bulger, Romo, Favre, Palmer, McNabb, Anderson

RB: LT, SJax, Maroney, LJ, FWP, R. Brown, Portis

WR: Housh, Holt, Evans, Boldin, CJ, Harrison, Roy Williams, A. Johnson

TE: Crumpler, Gonzo, D. Lee, Shockey

K: Folk, Dawson, Gould

D: MIN, DET, SD, DAL, BAL

Warner, McNabb

ADP, E. James, R. Grant, T. Henry

Colston, J. Walker, R. White, C. Henry

Winslow

Chic, Ten

Yup my team, lost 3 games by a total of 4.7 pts (2.6, .8, 1.3), win one and in. (Not that you care, but lost that 1.3 one on that last catch by CJ Sunday Night)

12 team PPR league. Of the top 10 scorers at each position, the following missed playoffs:

QB - Big Ben (6), Palmer (7), Brees (9), Kitna (10)

RB - Westbrook (1), LT (2), ADP (3), McGahee (5), Bush (6), Portis (7), Barber (8)

WR - CJ (6), Fitz (7), Welker (8), Burress/Colston (T-10)

TE - Gates (1), Winslow (3), Cooley (5), Clark (6), Miller (8), Daniels (9)

Guess this shows that you need a top 5 QB and top 5 WR to get into playoffs in this league.

Wow...I just realized that 11 of the top 20 WRs will not be in my fantasy playoffs...

Compared by position...I wondered how many at position are not in my fantasy playoffs...

6 of the top 20 QBs

4 of the top 20 RBs

11 of the top 20 WRs

6 of the top 20 TEs

3 of the top 20 PKs

4 of the top 20 DFs

And I thought this was a strong WR year...

Wide Receivers

Amani Toomer-NYG

Anquan Boldin-ARI

Bernard Berrian-CHI

Brandon Stokley-DEN

Braylon Edwards-CLE

Chris Chambers-SDC

Chris Henry-CIN

Deion Branch-SEA

Donald Driver-GBP

Drew Bennett-STL

Joey Galloway-TBB

Larry Fitzgerald-ARI

Laveranues Coles-NYJ

Marques Colston-NOS

Marty Booker-MIA

Patrick Crayton-DAL

Plaxico Burress-NYG

Reggie Wayne-IND

Roy Williams-DET

Santonio Holmes-PIT

Sidney Rice-MIN

Steve Smith-CAR

Wes Welker-NEP

Roy Williams, Ronnie Brown, Carnell Williams, Sammy Morris, Jake Delhome, Oh, Sorry!

Real players not on IR: AD, Jamal Lewis, Rivers, Welker, Carson Palmer, Derek Anderson, TO, Steven Jackson. Hasslebeck, Fitz, Andre Johnson, FWP, Kitna, Braylon, Gore, MBIII Those are the most notables.

From my PPR league, a few of the more notable players who'll be watching the playoffs from home:

QB:

Tom Brady

Peyton Manning

Drew Brees

RB:

Willie Parker

Frank Gore

Edgerrin James

WR:

Terrell Owens

Larry Fitzgerald

Roy Williams

Marques Colston

TE:

Antonio Gates

Tony Gonzalez

Desmond Clark

Going into the playoffs as the #1 seed with a first round bye, there are a few names on that list that I'm relieved I won't have to compete against.

Hmm, let's think here. I believe the following have missed the playoffs. Most notably (....and I didn't even realize until just now, thanks OP) but some very elite TE's are not in the mix anymore. The common factor among those that missed was definitely weakness at WR. Still some huge studs out there.

QB - Favre, Kitna, both Mannings, Hasselbeck, D. Anderson

RB - Addai, Jacobs, Portis, Barber III, WP, Henry, Graham

WR - Plaxico, Galloway, Boldin, Jennings

TE - Gates, Winslow, Shockey, Clark

ADP, Westbrook, Brees, Roethsliberger, Hasselbeck, Housh, Edwards

Our league has two teams on a bye so guaranteed to be out after this coming week is either a Romo/Moss team or Brady/Gore team and Manning/Owens team or D. Anderson/Tomlinson/CJ team.

my team: romo, parker, mcaghee, bush, witten, fitzgerald, s.smith

another team in same league: brees, LT AND ADP, roy williams, mjd, driver, tony g

2 great 7-6 teams.

12 team no ppr.

Tom Brady -- on my team. 6-7 despite being 2nd in total points. The rest of my team was mediocre at best.

:goodposting:

Peyton's owner didn't make it either.

12-team league - 6 playoff slots:

NO:

QB - P.Manning, Anderson, Favre, Palmer

RB - LT, McGahee

WR - Moss, Chad Johnson, R. Wayne

TE - Winslow, Whitten, Gonzalez

K - Folk, Gostkowski, Birones (3 of top 4)

D - Vikings, Steelers

Our league only has 2 out of 10 teams not make the playoffs.
Don't you feel that devalues the regular season having nearly every team make it?
In my league we went to a playoff format for the first time this year and allowed 8/10 teams into the playoffs - and I completely agree that it devalued the regular seaason. I am arguing for 6 team playoffs next year, with the top 2 getting a BYE. One team who didn't make it has Braylon, Steve Smith, Addai, Fitz, Indy AND Jax D. He was 4-2, then proceeded to lose every other game (7 in a row!).The other team was poorly (and barely) run by a new guy in our league who won't be back.

Brees

MBarber

Fargas

Galloway

Moss, R

TO

J Shocky

Steelers DEF

All from one team :goodposting:

Would probably win any other division, but finished third in mine...Had LT and ADP a few weeks ago, but traded an injured ADP for Barber and LT to get Randy Moss right before the trade deadline... was coming on like gang-busters and fell short.

A number of other top players since for some reason my league of 12 only takes 4 playoff teams. 2nd place in my division wins the wild card before the last week is even played and I have to face him in the first round even though we have the best records and most points scored in the league. (the guy with the team mentioned above has been the high point leader 4 weeks so far and is out of the running due to divisional record, I won twice and our wild card has won twice as well...talk about an unfortunate placement (I am happy that I do not have to play him in the playoffs though))

edited because tradeded is not a word that most of us are familiar with

If I had lost last week, my opponent would of gotten the last wildcard spot over the Brady owner.

Steven Jackson, Portis, Travis Henry, Holt, Jennings, Rivers

Vince Young, Wes Welker, Rudi Johnson, Fargas, Witten

Derek Anderson, Jones Drew, Edge, Bowe

Barber, Julius Jones, Shockey
