What to expect from Coffee this week? (1 Viewer)

Just picked him up and don't follow the 9ers... From the preseason the numbers looked good- both reception and rushing.. However, looks like he didn't do much with the few carries he got before last week and had a terrible yardage game and no catches. I realize Minn's run defense is great though... So what is this guys skill set like? Is he a viable start in PPR? The Rams aren't quite as easy to run on as you think.. The RB's have gotten good yardage on them just from the fact the opponents can grind out the easy win towards the end, but the Rams haven't been giving up explosive plays IMO...

I see Coffee has a top 5 ranking this week by FBG..... so wondering what's expected from him?

Starting him, expecting 100 yards and a touch.

I have no idea why they would give him the ball 25 times last week against the Williams wall. But I take it as a good sign that they're going to run a lot even if they're not up big.

Just read some positive quotes from Singletary- who usually tells it like it is... says Coffee has a full grasp of the plays, won't change how the offense is run,etc...

So does this guy catch the ball well? That's one thing not showing in his #'s so far..

He's solid - start him with confidence.

49'ers run a lot and with the weak Ram offense he should get many touches this week.

Seriously unless you are thin at RB....trade him before he takes the field on Sunday....his value will never be higher IMHO.....he will not put up Gorelike numbers IMHO.....and the rating services have him ranked as if he will....once he plays on Sunday the cat will be out the bag.....
