He posts this every game day. He was pretty fired up before last Sunday's game too. I echo the thoughts of those who are monitoring the Freeney-Mathis situation. For me, that will likely be the determining factor in whether I start MSW tonight. From MSW Twitter....Take it as you maySo therefore I'm goin so hard and I'm not stopping cause the sky's the limit!!!! I think it means he is going all out playing hard...there was something else on there saying this is a do or die then followed by the Davinci Code above.I left my Twitter decoder ring at home ... any idea what this means? From MSW Twitter....Take it as you maySo therefore I'm goin so hard and I'm not stopping cause the sky's the limit!!!! It's his way of saying his potential is immense. There is no ceiling (roof) to his potential and he can't be stopped. Like I said, it's what he Tweets every game day. He's a fun guy to follow for what it's worth. He's good friends with Chris Johnson and they're always Tweeting back and forth to each other.I left my Twitter decoder ring at home ... any idea what this means? From MSW Twitter....Take it as you maySo therefore I'm goin so hard and I'm not stopping cause the sky's the limit!!!! That's the safe move to make. I don't blame you and I'd go with those options ahead of him too.Its sad to hear that he has no home or brakesAnyway, I am sitting him. I am starting Wayne and one of Bowe or Meachem. Playing 3 RBs so I guess I am starting AP, Charles and Gore or Benson over him also.Cant take a chance. He could explode as he has in the past, but he could put up a game like the last 3. Cant take the chanceETA: Ill go with the healthier options
The Colts have serious issues in the secondary. Even if Mathis and Freeney play, the matchup on paper is very favorable for the Jacksonville passing game. But given how bad MSW has been the past two games, I'll need to see Freeney and Mathis out before I'm comfortable starting him. I know it's David Garrard and he can stink up a great matchup with the best of 'em but if he can't get the ball to MSW when the opposing team's standout pass rushers are out and their secondary is a mess, there's no hope for the guy.I also think I heard that the Colts are going to miss one of their starting corners, J. Powers. He was already their 3rd corner, with injuries to the other starters. If this is true, coupled with the injuries to Mathis and Freeney, I think MSW is worth the start tonight.
That is the least of my concerns. If they jump out early it will have to be because of the passing game clicking, plus not sure the last time the Colts have been down enough to not throw the ball. I think the main concern would be Indy pulling their offense second half due to a big lead, I wouldn't worry to much about JAX being comfortableThere's a big problem with tonight's gameIf Jacksonville jumps to an early lead they will start to run....to keep the ball away from Garrard hands
I think the Colts will score enough points to force the Jags to score to keep up. I don't think Jacksonville will be in a position to ignore the passing game. I'm guessing they're going to need to rely on it heavily to try and keep up with Indy. From all accounts, the Colts' offensive players are going to be on the field for the entire game. If that's the case, they will score points. The Jags' defense isn't any good and we know how good Indy's offense is.There's a big problem with tonight's gameIf Jacksonville jumps to an early lead they will start to run....to keep the ball away from Garrard hands
Thanks for the input Jeff. Here's my take on why people should seriously consider starting Mike Sims-Walker tonight.
Summary - Indications from the results of opposing QBs of the Colts last 4-5 opponents suggest the trend of good passing performances should continue. And that was before the news of the Colts top two pass rushers likely not playing tonight. Mike Sims-Walker is the team's best receiving threat. He appears to be healthy and excited about playing in a vitally crucial game for the Jaguars. All signs point to a big performance from the Jags passing game.. If that's the case, Mike Sims-Walker should stand to benefit more than any other receiver.
Well done. Thanks. Here's my take on why people should seriously consider starting Mike Sims-Walker tonight.
1. It sounds like he's healthy - the full practice on Wednesday is a great sign that he's OK to play. Personally, I think he was OK on Sunday. He ran good routes, he just wasn't able to connect on several of them.
2. We know what he is capable of - 6 TDs, 6 games of double-digit FPs, 6 games of at least 80 yards receiving
3) 7, 9, 9, 8, 6 targets in his last five games suggests he's still a part of the offensive plan, despite his injury causing poor performance in the last few games.
4. The Jaguars at 7-6 currently hold one of the AFCs two wildcard spots. They are in dire need of a win to keep their playoff hopes alive, plus who doesn't get up for a chance to beat the Colts? Remember, the Jags barely lost @ IND in week one 14-12. This game in Jacksonville will be huge to their playoff hopes. In other words, don't expect to see a lot of tarp tonight.
5. Both Robert Mathis and Dwight Freeney are expected to sit out tonight. That's 21 of the Colts 30 sacks this year - likely on the bench. Those who have watched Jaguars games this year have seen the struggles in the passing game, because teams were able to get pressure, hits, hurries and sacks on Garrard. The lack of these two big pass rushers gives hope for Garrard and the Jags to have a very impressive passing performance tonight.
6. Last week Brandon Marshall went berserk (understatement) against the Colts and cornerback Kelvin Hayden. Marshall is a big presence, 6-foot-4, 230 pounds. Sims-Walker is Jacksonville's biggest WR threat at 6-foot-2, 200 pounds. He also leads the team in targets, receptions, receiving yards and receiving TDs. If anyone is going to take advantage of any shortcomings in the Colts depleted secondary, it's Sims-Walker.
7. Indianapolis has allowed opposing QBs to reach 20+ FP in each of the last three games and four of the last five games. There is definitely reason to believe Garrard will be able to put up similar numbers, especially if Freeney and Mathis rest - which is expected.
8. Sims-Walker wasn't the only WR who struggled last week. Torry Holt also had a disappointing game with just two catches. If Holt had 6 catches and Sims-Walker had just his one catch, I would be concerned. The fact that neither Sims-Walker, Holt or Marcedes Lewis exceeded two catches leads me to believe Sims-Walker's poor performance wasn't all his doing.

Have a seat on the bench, Houshman##########.Id be happy with 70-80 and 1 TD after the last three weeks he has had.Pumped for a HUGE game tonight. 135 yds 2 TDsHave a seat on the bench, Houshman##########.
Great. This is not what I wanted to read.RUT RO!Freeney will play, Mathis a game-time decisionPosted: December 17th, 2009 | NFL.com Staff | Tags: Dwight Freeney, Indianapolis Colts, Robert Mathis, Week 15 injuriesIndianapolis Colts DE Dwight Freeney will play against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday night despite missing practice the last two days, reports NFL Network insider Michael Lombardi. The Colts’ other defensive end, Robert Mathis, will be a game-time decision.Freeney, one of 29 Colts on yesterday’s injury report, was officially listed as questionable with an abdomen injury that has bothered him for several weeks. He’s missed one game this season, the Week 12 win over the Texans.Mathis was also held out of practice the last two days with a quad injury. He was listed as questionable. The Colts had already ruled out CB Jerraud Powers (hamstring) and RB Donald Brown (chest).
This is what I did, playing against a stronger team for all the marbles. More upside. LET'S DO THIS!Pumped for a HUGE game tonight. 135 yds 2 TDsHave a seat on the bench, Houshman##########.
I have MSW, Calvin and Britt and need to play two of them as my WR3/WR4. Right now I'm leaning toward MSW and then waiting on Sunday for Calvin/Britt.But the Freeney news has me spooked.Dang this sucks. With Hester injured, I have to pick between Megatron or MSW (unless I want to play E Bennett). Right now Calvin is in the lineup, but with him injured and Culpepper at QB...I have no idea what to do. Please Lord, let Fitz play this weekend. Give me a bone.
Congrats?shuke said:I'm rolling with him over Avant and Cotchery. Being a prime time game just makes it more exciting for me.
Getting pretty excited here. What time's the game start?
Starting him over Britt to see him in primetime! This is good Wheel, but how come the FGB team has him outside the top30 this week?Jeff Haseley said:Here's my take on why people should seriously consider starting Mike Sims-Walker tonight.

With options like this we'll assume you're in the toilet bowl bracket?Congrats?shuke said:I'm rolling with him over Avant and Cotchery. Being a prime time game just makes it more exciting for me.
Is there a Yudkin for the Jags here, anyone, anyone, Bueller, Bueller?Okay, can someone help me out with a little info here? When exactly, what week, was MSW injured and what was the specific injury? Do we know? Can it be assumed that he's now healthy, that injury is no longer affecting his ability to run/get separation? How much of his poor fantasy stats are based on the injury as opposed to other factors; opponents D, Garrard sailing passes, Garrard throwing two passes to 9 different receivers? For owning the guy, I really don't know much about the specifics and don't see anything posted here other than: knee/calf injury. TIA
Hell no. Check out this monster of a lineup for this week. With options like this we'll assume you're in the toilet bowl bracket?Congrats?shuke said:I'm rolling with him over Avant and Cotchery. Being a prime time game just makes it more exciting for me.
