What to make of Mike Sims-Walker (2 Viewers)

Sitting.Going withDriverHolmesCalvin
Just sat Calvin. Checked the practice report and noticed he was held out of practice with a sore knee, after practicing yesterday.I'm not taking a chance when I only have Josh Morgan as my other receiver.

There were weeks that MSW outscored Wayne in one league and Austin in another league but I just can't see risking it. If he blows up this week and I win then I'll feel better about subbing him in for Wayne in 16 but not this week.
Subbing him in for Wayne would just be silly.Yeah, Wayne's been very slow of late, but so has MSW.

18.4 in PPR.. damn, flip flopped between him and Jennings tonight.. went to change back before the game and it was too late.

eh, I'm not going to complain about 18.4 that's a nice outing, but not enough to kick myself in the butt over. Had he popped off for 25+ I would be.. but in PPR, between 15 and 20 is that range where other WR's will likely get you close to that anyway.

Good job to the guys who started him. Hoping it doesnt come back to bite me. At least my night was a little better since I had Wayne

So much for the Gravy.
Yep. But I'll take the steak and potatoes he served up as a WR3. It's good for ya!
Agreed. It was a good game and I'm happy I started him. It sucks because he could have done even better - Garrard missed him on one throw late and then didn't see him standing wide open on the final INT. But 6-64-1 is a fine line especially in light of the past two weeks. Well done MSW.

you made a mistake....admit it and move on...it happens...but don't give me that crap about 15-20 is typical in PPR it is most definitely NOT typical...it's very good...not great, but definitely very good...and as most of us had him as our WR3 we are very happy...as evidence a projection of 18.4 pts in a PPR league was the 5th ranked WR this week in FBG rankings

I'm really not mad about ti though.. got 31 from MJD  If I get 13 from my WR3, I'm happy. If people want to admit it or not, MSW was a gamble tonight. His injury, past performance, weather, etc. I decided to hedge his QB Rodgers with my WR Jennings. That tilted the scale away from MSW.Yeah I wish I could go back and put him in, and I'm genuinely happy for those who started him. I hope he does the same thing next week if I can make it to the championship game.

Started him, and just the sort of performance I was hoping for. I remain convinced that most of the problems with consistency are on Garrard's end, not his.

Prime Time just said on NFL net that MSW will have one of the biggest games of his life tonight.
He was a great player, but as an analyst.. he's still dramatic.
He might have if Garrard did not stop looking his way! What the F was wrong with that dope? Sims-Walker was WIDE open on his td, and practically all night. Jax is incompetent when it comes to the passing game.

Yup. MSW is a talent. Give him a talented QB to work with and he could be a big-time WR for the next several years.

no doubt it was a gamble, and a sizable one at that...I started Garrard and MSW tonight because I am a sig underdog in my match-up and felt I needed the upside that these two could provide (that I felt R. White and Alex Smith couldn't)...if I was facing an evenly matched opponent I would not have started either...glad it worked out fpor me tonight, but it was definitely a gamble
