I just gave up T. Jones and P. Crayton and picked up L. Johnson and M. Furrey.

If this totally lopsided or have there been worse?

I've pulled off two.

My all time favorite was back a million years ago. I traded the 1st-waiver pick (Don Beebe) for Gerald Riggs who proceeded to score like 10 more TDs that year. Beebe was coming off a 4-TD game and had maybe two the rest of the season (on top of that my roster had 1 RB and 6 WR and I had no use for or interest in Beebe).

The other one was trading away Joe Horn (who I had no interest in keeping) for Priest Holmes immediately before Priest's first blow-up season.

I think it was Herschel Walker to the Vikequeens for everyone of there draft picks till the year 2020! :coffee: :porked:

LOL!!!!

In 2004:

I got: Ladainian Tomlinson

I gave: Kevan Barlow and Onterrio Smith

Funny thing was, the other guy offered this to me.

ETA: This was a contract league, so I had LT for a couple of season as well.

Yeah, but you had to suffer through having to replace Onterrio Smith!

DYNASTY TRADE

This last offseason (before the Pats traded for Moss, before Stallworth went to NE):

I traded - Donte Stallworth & Laurence Maroney

FOR

Tom Brady & Willie Parker

The dude had Randy Moss (who was currently in OAK). So he ended up with Stallworth, Moss, and Maroney on the same team.

At the time it seemed Tatem Bell for Quincy Wilson. Right after the draft.

One of my best, this off-season was Michael Vick and Mark Clayton for Tom Brady and Marty Booker.

Worst I ever got bent? Javon Walker, a late 1st and some crap for TJ Duckett and other crap. I must have been drunk that day.

In dynasty, I traded Greg Jennings, and the 9th and 12th picks in a FA Rookie draft this offseason for Steve Smith. He ended up using those picks on Brady Quinn and Mason Crosby.

2005

I Got: Payton Manning, Larry Fitzgerald, Tatum Bell

Gave: Marc Bulger, Thomas Jones, Brandon Lloyd, Lee Suggs

Within 2 weeks Bulger and Jones were hurt and rookie Alex Smith killed Lloyd's productivity.

The payback was that Peyton rested during the fantasy playoffs and I lost.

Last year a guy gave up Manning and some garbage players for Brees and some startable players early in the season (redraft). The league (including me) complained it was soooo lopsided.

It was lopsided, but not the way we thought.

As soon as I saw this thread, I thought to myself, "I bet this is just a bragging thread to talk about a trade someone just made, and probably the trade wasn't even lopsided." Useless. I would like my cookie now. :hijacked:PS: That trade is at WORST a coin flip, and at best, T. Jones/Crayton is the preferred side.

Technically that's not a lopsided trade!!!??? It's a trade that worked out for you, but at the time seemed even. We've all done deals that turn out for the very worse (or very better).... but the thread is about the deal being lopsided, not the outcome.

Back in July, this trade was made in one of my dynasty leagues:

Mike Vick & Lee Evans

for

Jeff Garcia, Anthony Thomas, Drew Carter, and Bobby Wade

Carter and Wade were picked up off waivers just before the trade.

A few years ago someone in my league traded (full dynasty) away Kurt Warner (little known at the time) for Tampa Bay QB Shaun King and a first round pick (which turned out to be Peter Warrick).

The guy with "Greatest Show on Turf QB" dominated for the next few years.

Gerald Riggs who was clearly the goalline back for Joe Gibbs vs fluke one week dude I thought was lopsided.Horn for Holmes (who was the confirmed starting back) also was lopsided IMO.Most of the trades in this thread fall into the category you are talking about otherwise. -QG
