What week do you start valuing actual performance (1 Viewer)

After two weeks there are some players on your roster that are not getting it done and some players on the waiver wire that are.

How long do you wait for a sign of life from a player you drafted and how quick do you move on to the next big thing?

IMO, this is the make or break week. I know in IDP they say 4 weeks is when player value is solidified, but I think that is too long to wait. That is 1/3 of most fantasy regular seasons. I've already started making moves based on 2 weeks of production (or lack thereof) as in prior years I waited and suffered for it.

And I think this is a question, not just for roster moves, but who you should start week to week as well.

Who are some (non-injured) players you are cutting this week? Who are some waiver guys you are buying into?

One guy I'm cutting is Johnny Knox. I thought this week was his best bet to show up and he didn't. One guy I'm holding hope still on is Owen Daniels, but it will be real hard to keep him in my lineup over Keller again.

Two weeks is enough for me with certain late-round picks. I've already dropped Andre Roberts because there are just too many other WR breakout candidates that are already showing more.

I remember last year Brandon Lloyd was still on our waiver wire going into week 4. But I can already tell people are more trigger-happy this year, searching for the next breakout guy.
