What caught you by surprise this weekend? Anything you thought you knew for sure, but now has you scratching your head?

I thought I knew:

Roy E. Williams sucked.

Denver's defense sucked.

Carolina's OLine was dominant.

Roy W had a td on a busted play...Williams owners should sell.

I was wrong about AJ, CJ, Dallas Clark and ronnie brown. Have them all on one team and got blasted today by brees and the Eagles D

You could probably pin the majority of this on the INTs by Delhomme and crew plus Delhomme lost a fumble.

Actually, I thought they deserved a big portion of the blame for Delhomme's crappiness.

I said here yesterday that absent injury Palmer would be a top 4-5 QB today ... Apologies to anyone who even half-heartedly listened.

Palmer would be if the receivers (especially Coles) weren't modeling their play after the Brandon Marshall practice regimen of knocking ball after ball to the ground. -QG

He's having to knock off some rust after missing half of last season and most of this preseason. Also, some of his receivers didn't help him one bit. He'll be fine this season.

I underestimated just how lame the Rams' offense is. Gave Steven Jackson too many receptions in my projections, apparently, although 1 game is too soon to panic there.

But boy, did they look awful vs. Seattle.

that drafting Schaub in the 7th and Palmer in the 8th was a brilliant move

that drafting Steve Smith in the 3rd was exactly what I had hoped for

that I would be keeping our league's trophy another year
