What would I have to add to Melvin Gordon to make a fair trade offer? (1 Viewer)

I am in a .5 PPR (for RBs) 12 team dynasty with large rosters, and I am loaded at RB. I was considering an attempt to upgrade to David Johnson, RB, Arizona.

I was going to offer Melvin Gordon, but what else do I have to offer to make my offer fair?

For RBs I have Ezekiel Elliott, Todd Gurley, Carlos Hyde, Melvin Gordon, and Spencer Ware.

In our league we only have to start a minimum of one RB, but we can start a max of two if we want.

Otherwise I have also considered attempting to upgrade to Antonio Brown, WR, Piitsburgh (who is owned by a different owner than Johnson).

WRs get 1 PPR scoring, and I have good starters and little depth, I have Allen Robinson and Mike Evans as starters.

Overall my team is solid, but I am looking to upgrade because I am in a tough competition for the title.

I was thinking of offering Gordon, with one of Hyde or Ware and someone like Mike Wallace, WR, Baltimore for either Johnson or Brown.

If needed, I could also throw in 2017 draft choices, so is my potential offers fair or insulting?

Would appreciate all suggestions.

I would think your offer would be rejected right away if you through that out there for Johnson.  With your requirements of playing a min of 1 RB and a max of 2 I might offer up Gurley and Ware for Johnson and see if the guy bites.  Rolling into the future with Zeke & Johnson in a one RB league is really nice .  I believe Gurley is really hampered by the Rams organization so I have Johnson>>>Gurley at this point.  I just don't think Gordon will have the perceived value to get a player like Johnson.  I think Gurley has that even though he is underperforming.

With all that said, I don't think I would push for Johnson as much as Brown (assuming you can start 3 WR's?).  Depending on the starting requirements I would rather have Brown over Gurley in my lineup so if you can start 1 RB & 3 WR or 2 & 2 I would lean towards floating Gurley out to the Brown owner which would give you a starting lineup of Zeke, Evans, A-Rob, & Brown instead of Zeke, Gurley, Evans & A-Rob.   I believe that is an upgrade in a full point PPR league.
