What would V.Young do to D.Davis? (1 Viewer)

Let's say Houston takes V.Young 1 overall what does this do to D.Davis overall numbers?

Reggie Bush....They better not take Vince Young, David Carr is decent, they need to fix the o-line....lets talk about how Reggie Bush and Dominic Davis are going to each have over 1000 total yards next year. Bush will catch for like 400 and run for 700 and Davis will run for about 1000. They need some o-line...DO you actually think he is going to be good straight out of college? Only a few quarterbacks in the history of the NFL have had winning records their first season. Young is a project that the Texans don't need to go through cause they got Carr...WIth running backs, there isn't a large amount of time that they have to mature so Bush will be Rookie of the Year.. I think Young would be a better pick for a team that has a damn good RB already bottomline. Young would score 6-8 TD's rushing his first year. Davis would take a big hit in TD's IMO. He would go from a guy that with a good line could rack up 10-12 to maybe a 5-8 TD guy with Young around.

Young would improve D Davis' numbers. He doesn't get a ton of short yardage TDs as it is. Young would improve the offense overall.

I'll wait 'till draft day to speculate future draft implications on current players' value... except D.D.. I'll go out on a limb to say that in a keeper or dynasty, I'd only touch him w/ a REALLY LONG stick.

Houston was the 27th ranked team in scoring PPG last year and 26th in TD's scored. Anything that would help improve the offense would help Davis.A rising tide lifts all boats...
