What Would We Be Saying About Fred Taylor If Denver Drafted Him In 98 (1 Viewer)

This is like saying, "what would we be saying if Denver had Adrian Peterson this past season." No point even debating it.

What would we be saying about Brett Favre if Green Bay had drafted him? Ever think of that?

How about, "pity he was not willing to play with minor injuries in his early years..."
Just curious as to wheteher you classify tearing a groin muscle off the bone as a minor injury.
i worked with a guy who played LB at a Eastern or Western Michigan like 25-30years ago who says he suffered the same injury. He tore part of his groin and Hamstring away on the upper part of his Left leg. He had multiple surgeries andhe said the leg never ever felt the same and couldn't imagine trying to play on it ever again. He also said when it happened and the trainer came out onto the field to check him. The trainer stuck his fingers on his injured groin to feel the muscle and his fingers went thru his leg like feeling pudding and the trainer literally had to hold his other hand over his mouth b/c he was gonna throw up from the feeling/seeing that. The trainer immediatly called for a cart/stretcher

What does his major injury have to do with whether he played through minor injuries?Taylor himself admitted a couple of seasons ago that earlier in his career he hadn't been willing enough to play hurt.

A better question would be what if the Bears had drafted him.(since they took a RB ahead of him) Would they have reached their peak more around 01-02 than 05-06?

Also in that 98' draft, what if the Titans had taken Randy Moss instead of Kevin Dyson?

I doubt Shanahan would have had the patience for his injuries that Jacksonville has shown. I think being in Denver would have diminished his career stats. He wouldn't have been in Denver more than 4 years and then probably would have bounced around between injuries trying to find a team to settle in with.
