Anyone get the sense that the entire reason for doing the "upgrade" was to purge certain threads in a subtle way? It's pretty easy to blame casualties on the "upgrade".

I though we had some kind of cleanup job being done and we'd see a delayed release, but deleted?
I think this whole board upgrade was just a ruse to keep us inmates in check while the quietly eliminated one of the mobs favorites.
I, for one, am outraged I tell you. Outraged!
OK, since there is nothing we can do about it, just carry on with your normal, boring, entertainmentless lives. A part of me has died this day.

Feels kind of like an ethnic cleanse, but with threads being the people in this situation.
I tried cleaning it up in the past to let it play out for awhile, but there was no way that thread was going to fly here long-term. I assume most people reading it who have been around here awhile understood that.

Well, I am sure I am speaking for many others when I tell you how appreciative I am of the efforts by the mods here at FBG to keep this place sanitized and safe for all the kids who never come here.
