Start 2qbs 3 rbs. So its thin there. We know Bush will hold alot of value but what about the guys behind him. I know its hard to tell untill the NFL draft...But give me a ballpark figue. I will start...Is it woth more than D Davis and O Smith. Or more like L Jordan or Portis??

hahaha :lmao: if someone is going to give LJ or Portis for it I'd laugh and ask him to join my money league.DDavis and OSmith should be pretty equivilent, if he likes either one.

The value of any pick depends on the real draft and where players go. I would not trade the #2 pick until I see the landscape. DDavis and OSmith are not enough for me (especially if HOU takes Bush) to move the #2 pick. It would take a LJ or Portis.

I could possibly see it worth Jordan if LenDale White, etc. goes to the right team. Jordan is 28 already and didn't blow anyone away as a starter. It's a lot to ask since Jordan is a proven player on a high-powered offense with an improving OL, but not entirely out of the question. But Portis, no way.

Really? I don't see DD worth much at all if Houston drafts Bush, and Onterrio Smith? Wow, I have the 1.02 and there's just no stopping my laughter if I get offered SOD for that pick. To answer the initial question: I think 1.02 is going to be a very good position in this rookie draft, and I would not trade that pick right now. Bush will go #1 as you mention in 99% of drafts. After that, there will be a post-draft pecking order that places a premium on LenDale White/Deangelo Williams/Laurence Maroney, depending on which RB lands in a plush situation. When that happens, if you don't want the guy who emerges you should easily be able to get better than SOD or DD. In fact, I'd view SOD as a throw in to slide down to 1.4-1.5 and still get a good dynasty prospect. Maybe even a future 1st and a slide down to 1.4-1.5. There will be value in that slot.
